As for the resemblance to his brother, at one point he made a funny face, and looked exactly like Joey. But most of the time there are differences as well as similarities. The brothers met at the hospital yesterday. I'm eager to hear how that went. I hope someone took pictures.

Now you can stop racing to finish his special gift. He deserves something just for him as he begins a life full of hand-me-downs. LOL (Think of the savings!)

Chisue, to me Joey looks like his mother, his maternal grandmother (eyes), and his paternal grandfather (nose, possibly, and lips). My son looks almost exactly like my dad. Same nose and great lips as my father's father, and I thought these might come through in his children, but apparently not. So far. :-)

Since males have only one X chromosome, every X gene in a father is certain to be passed on to a daughter. Therefore, if my son ever has a daughter, I would expect to see something of my family in her. But of course, that's not guaranteed.

Aw, thanks, everyone! They got home from the hospital yesterday. I didn't ask about the name because I know so many relatives have been bugging them. I'll wait for them to tell me.....but of course my patience has limits. ;-)

lol..you're gonna love it no matter what...I was so blessed...of my 2 dgs, one is named cal after my dad, and the other is Nicholas dean (his middle name is my late uncle) both wonderful men....
