One of my photos on a billboard...

at six locations in MN.

Dakota County- I 494 North of LaFayette Freeway

Pine County- I 35 North of Hinkley

Chicago County- I35 North of Stacy Exit

Scott County- Hwy 169, 2200 feet south of Meridian St.

Wright County- I-94 half a mile east of exit 202 (this one posts after Thanksgiving)

How stupid am I, I just noticed they only gave me five locations! So I guess there are five or six, either way it's a thrill.

And two pictures of the one in Dakota County that a friend was nice enough to take for me.

That is so wxciting! I should be able to see the one on I-94.
That is a gorgeous picture and your friend took that picture on a perfect day. Love that blue sky!

Beautiful picture and great reminder. Would love to see more, but too cold today to take a drive. well, unless you want our snow and cold weather 5 above.

Yes, all my grown Peach and Plum trees burst into full bloom yesterday. The Pears are beginning to open. I have four grown peach trees (on the lower terraces). The two Red Plums and several Cherries are on the terrace just below this plot, and three Peaches on the next lower terrace. Two peaches on the lowest terrace with a Pear tree and a little Apple tree. The previous owners, who were not gardeners, planted a nice little orchard on the lowest spot on the property. Of course, the frost settles there, so the those peaches get it nearly every year when we get those crazy late frosts. One semi-dwarf Pear (Barlett) and the old Apple that I loved so much died last summer during the severe Drought and extreme high temps. It made the nicest fruit every Autumn. Three years ago, we cut the top out of the big Pear and got the best crop the following year. Last year the fruit never fully developed to full size and just dried up on the tree. We only got two cups of cherries and a handful of red plums. That was it! Just too hot and too dry in spite of all the irrigation every day. The water just never got down to the roots. Everything growing was vying for that same water. Moisture depth was only 1-2 inches even though I irrigated my entire yard all day long every day. Native trees all over the state were even reportedly dying. It was a horrible summer. I have hopes that this summer won't be a repeat. We have already received more rainfall this year than we did last spring and more is on its way. Yeah! I have drip lines ready to lay in under these little trees, just in case. Anyway, I am hoping that putting the new fruit trees on this upper terrace will help with the late frost problem. ~Annie

I'm gathering this seedling is a TET. I do have Yasmin!! Though I'm not sure if they will be blooming at the same times. Guess I have some pollen to save. Thanks so much, that is a great suggestion.

Punk, I love my Moon Rock. LOL. My former neighbor could make all kinds of stuff. And funny about the Family sign, till you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed how it matched the moon. It was unfinished wood, from Dollar Tree last year. I stained it and then added glitter. (ooops, Jeanne, guess I have used glitter before! ;o) I've tripped over, but luckily not fallen YET, "kicked" her (accidently), etc. and she just lays there giving me this DUH look. Good thing I move slow these days or I'd probably break something tripping on her. What you see of my kitchen floor is basically all the wide it is! And she only lays there WHEN I'm cooking. Arrrggghhhh. She's a velcro cat, I can't even go to the bathroom alone. And she SNORES. Loudly!! So she's shut out of the bedroom at bedtime. I don't even know how she fits in back of that shelf behind the cable box, the space from it to the wall is only about 7 inches! I need to take a photo of her back there sometime. I watched her get out of there earlier, she stepped over the brown rabbit and squeezed between the moon and the Santa. (Glad he's really, really heavy!) Cats, LOL. hugs, K

Thanks, everyone. Phyllis, I don't know where that is, but Wright County is where Buffalo is, so around there some place.

That is so cool, joan! We'll be driving from the Michigan UP, (by way of Duluth) to Rochester MN for Christmas so will get to see the two on I-35! I'll be watching and will point them out to my husband and step-daughter!

That I-94 one is located at the Albertville JCT. I don't know if it would be going North or South. We will be going past there on Thurs, but it is not scheduled to be there yet -- maybe it will be early.

Thanks, Judy. I found out the location of the sixth one, which will be up by 12/15.
Here is what she sent me: The 6th one is Wabasha County, US 61 South of 42.

Joan,
We saw your Billboard on I-94 tonight (Thanksgiving night.) It was in the North-bound lane and shortly before the Outlet Malls of Albertville. It was on the left side and there were 2 billboards, with yours on top.
