And thank you for coordinating the list again this year! I just finished addressing the envelopes.

By the way, card exchange people... the zip code for Kings Park, NY is 11754 (or at least that is what Google told me!)

and the postage to Canada is 75 cents

Pretty neat!
We have 3 Canadian provinces and 20 states in the exchange!

Am I correct in thinking..... where your name appears in the gorup, that is the group we send to right? Just 9-10 ?

I tried posting this yesterday, but my computer was acting so weird, I didn't. But I'm going to today. Tami, ours look quit similar, except for color. The way I treat mine is this. Make up a batch of orchid fertalizer, only, use twice the amount of water as called for. Water with this for 3 waterings. Then on the 4th time you water, use clear water, to rinse out the salts from the fertalizer. I set the pot into a deep bowl, so the water is caught. Then I water it the 2nd time with that same water. Don't get water on the leaves or down in the base. If you do, use a paper towel to wick the water up from within the base. Do not cut the stalk off after the blooms die, because you get more blooms on it later. Leslie

Thank you all for the good wishes! We are in Virginia, on our way to a bluegrass festival. This is my last chance for internet and electric until at least Monday! Last night was totally primitive camp, beautiful, and only $11 for the night. Tonight is a KOA with all the amenities, then to the festival grounds, with no hook ups whatsoever. We have had rain most of the trip, tho we had only a few sprinkles today, and a tiny bit of sunshine today. The temp is in the 40's now, under a freeze warning until tomorrow, then supposed to be in the low 70's for the rest of the week, with good weather for the festival, so we are not complaining about the rain we've been driving in! Please add me,I'm waiting on a kidney transplant. Kidney failure, the gift thsat keeps on giving. My latest problems are too-high phosphorous count, arthritis in both knees, and I had a seizure last saturday. I was totally awake, eyes open, able to speak. But my legs and left arm were twitching uncontrollably.

Thanks everyone! I ended up sending the email out individually. Everytime I tried to send to the group, I'd get an error in the addresses.

Cheryl, you have mail again, anyway! I went to email first.

Janie, thanks for posting the zip code. I forgot to look it up. And I didn't even notice the Canadian provinces or the # of states in the exchange!

Joann, yes, the group your name appears in is the one you need to send to. You may send to any or all of the others after you have your group sent.

I enjoy doing this every year. I just hope I didn't miss anyone. I had everything backed up to a flash drive, then managed to misplace it, so I went back thru all my emails, which I purposely saved! Thanks for signing up.
