I prefer neither, but DH likes A-1. I often use Lea & Perrins Worchestershire Sauce in cooking.

Neither for me on a grilled steak, but I enjoy it on a hamburger steak.

We usually use A1 if we are using any, like Sheilajoyce, I prefer Worcestershire for cooking and was raised using that with garlic on steaks.

I don't care for either, but DH loves A-1.

I will use either to enhance a meatloaf or a stew. They are pretty similar in flavor. Mostly I use Lea and Perrins Worchestershire sauce, though.

With prime rib, I love a little bit of horseradish on the side for dipping.

I don't think I've ever had Heinz and I can't even stand the smell of A-1. I guess I'm just not a steak sauce person. DH likes A1.

A-1 but NEVER, EVER would I use it on a steak.

We love Heinz 57 sometime with horseradish. gosh is it expensive now.

I use Heinz 57 in my meatloaf but not on steaks or hamburgers. It might be tasty mixed in with the hamburger meat.

Never ever on steak. Steak is rare and tasty.

But I keep both around for other things. I like Heize57 with pork or chicken and I like A1 on hamburger steak. I like to put both the A1 and a little ketchup with it on a plate for dipping.

Sometimes I'm in the mood for one, sometimes the other. What I really prefer is mine grilled with Everglade Seasoning. Love that stuff!

That's really funny Linda! When my sister was little, back when Lyndon B Johnson was president, for some reason she called Worcestershire sauce LBJ. To this day we still refer to it as the LBJ sauce. :)

We always have a bottle of A-1 on hand because DIL and SIL prefer it, but I seldom put anything on my steak. Just like it plain with salt and pepper.

If I have anything it's ketchup.

Love A-1 on steaks. For hamburgers, its horseradish mustard.
