Does any one have a Eco Fan?

I am looking to buy an Eco Fan (not sure of spelling), for DD. Would like one made in US or Canada. It sits on top of a wood stove.

We bought one last winter. It really helps push the heat out into the room. The hotter the fire the faster the blades turn. Be sure to check around because they are all over the place price wise. We bought ours at Menards..

What brand it yours and is it 3 blades or two? Went to Menards and they are out. When visiting about 6 months ago, DD and hubby saw them, but now the are not carrying them--so will have to buy online.

Placement of the fan is critical ,, it must be at the edge of the stove top and NOT in the center. Over heating will cause it to slow down and the springs on the bottom of the foot plate to lift up. I tried the center and it diffently slowed down ,, moved it back to the edge and it speeded up. See if your fan blade spins freely. If it does not maybe the blade is bent. There are two black wires on the back that provide current to the fan motor. Make sure they are securely connected.

Wow - here in my area (TN) I've never been offered an email receipt. However, we don't have Macy's or Nordstrom and I don't shop at Kmart or Sears. That would be great though. For our own personal use, I keep every receipt that has tax on it. Besides needing receipts for hubby's business expenses, we also keep up with how much sales tax we spend in a year. Anything and everything that will help us out on our taxes . . . (Terri - I first put receipts in my wallet, then every few days they are transferred to a file.)

Hmmm....I've actually been mulling installing one of these in my master bath, which currently has no exhaust fan. My thought was that it might be helpful to turn on while in the shower in winter or summer when opening the window was undesirable (either for cold air in or letting cooled air out). A more conventional exhaust fan that I could/would run both longer and more frequently doesn't seem essential because, A) the room is large and the bathroom door frequently open, so steam disperses quickly and well. And B) there are multiple extremely old, extremely leaky windows in the bathroom which do an unfortunately good job in ventilating the room! Does anyone know if they have a way to close them off when not in use?

It says on the pamplet Ecofan. It also has Caframo. It has 2 blades... Check Amazon.

Our fireplace is in a lower part of the house so the heat rises into the main part of the house. We also have put up one of the corner frame fans. The 2 together really pushes the air. I just checked Amazon. They have both the fans and the corner frame fans. Good prices, too.
