I am having grilled salmon, broccoli cheese rice and okra.

As I read down through the different menus posted here, I think to myself 'wouldn't it be nice if we all lived close together and could have a giant potluck?'

I had a 1/2# hamburger for lunch, and brought 1/2 of it home, so that will be my supper.

That's a GREAT IDEA gadgets, I wish we did all live closer to each other, all of these dishes sound wonderful, I'm getting hungry just reading them all. Thanks Ladies for all the great ideas, I appreciate it.

Took the kids to the Mellow Mushroom, first time for us. Interesting place, music way too loud. Food, pretty good. Lauren had a huge calazone and had to bring half of it home, with spinach, mushrooms and cheese (it was wonderful-I had a small piece); Alex had a pepperoni and sausage pizza, no cheese, which took forever and they gave us free when it finally came. I had a ham and cheese hoagie, with onions and mushrooms. It was pretty good. Oh, and we all had pretzels as appetizers, which were pretty good.

Was going to have homemade split pea soup, but it didn't cook fast enough so we had tuna salad sandwiches. The soup's still in the crockpot and I just got up to stir it and ended up eating a bowl of it now. I'm going to let it cook longer though, on low.

We had smoked pork chops, potato casserole and acorn squash last night. Tonight will be meat loaf and mashed potatoes. Maybe I will make a dessert later today too.

Oh boy hellion, that sounds soo good, I'll be right over, just kidding. That sounds like a great Sunday supper We're having Chicken breasts, lots of vegetables, mashed potatoes, and apple pie for dessert.

Steak cooked on the grill (still 72º outside), baked potato with everything, winter squash from the garden and rolls. Brownies for dessert.

DH made eggplant parmesan, spaghetti sauce from scratch from our home-grown heirloom tomatoes, with meatballs and sausage, with pasta. Very tasty!

Tonight we had a Prime Rib roast Stuffed with garlic and encrusted with a rosemary garlic rub. Also had garlic roasted mashed potatoes(keeping the garlic theme going) With that we had buttered carrots and some fresh corn I had frozen in the late summer. With some warm crescent rolls and Apple pie for later when we could find room lol

Baked Smithfield ham, Caulifower with cheese sauce, sauted asparagas in lemon and butter and salad. Angelfood cake with butter cream icing for dessert.

There was a birthday in our house, too. DD is 9. Family tradition is she gets to pick the menu, home cooked or restaurant. She picked hotdogs and burgers on the grill. It was 45 degrees at dinner time, but not raining, so DH cooked out. Also had baked beans, fruit and chips. Followed by a big ole chocolate cake.

I have a date with my favorite fella, Stouffer. I think he's taking me out for an Italian dinner, Fettucine. Wish I could help, but since I'm dating again, and he's always good for a dinner date, I quit cooking! lmao

We're having a good old fashion stew tonight, with dumplings, jello and ice cream for dessert.

I have no idea! I cooked all day yesterday. I had a big pork shoulder I cooked slow in the oven all day, and made 39 cabbage rolls. I'm all cooked out!

Well to cook anyway. DH is leaving town about 3 and won't be home til after 8:30 or so.
I *think* there is a dab of that Steak and Potato pie I made the other night...I might have to warm that up.

Last night we just did pizza since our flight was delayed coming home.

Tonight maybe something quick like shrimp pasta...I'm going to the gym.

Tomorrow I'm making a big beef stew and taking half to my friend that just had a baby, so they can have a homemade dinner without the work!

I have a little left-over ham, so we're having a mac and cheese dish with ham, a salad, and some sort of veggie. Last night was pork with gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and carrots. Night before was home made split pea soup and cornbread. That's as far back as I can remember :-)

DS had leftover lasagna, DH had a frozen dinner and I had Corn Flakes. I went all out tonight, :)

I have a jar of curry sauce and a little basmati rice. I'm going to cook chicken in the sauce and serve it over the rice.

Sliced, roasted chicken from the grocery store and some steamed veggies. Broccoli, Brussel sprouts, Turnip and celery.
