Are your Christmas cards for the exchange ready?

I've been working on mine the past few days and I'm exhausted. LOL I decided to send to everyone on the list and I made 2 different cards (nothing fancy... trust me) and have been printing, folding and addressing a little bit each day.

Mine will go out sometime next week.

Then I get to work on the ones for my family and real-life friends.

Are yours ready yet?

I plan to work on them this weekend so they will be ready to send out next week. I also plan to put up my tree this weekend. Looks like I'll be busy.

With the exception of Vikki's card which came ages ago, all the cards were in today's mail. What a treat! They make a cheerful addition to the card display and my DB will surely have something to say about the new magnets on the fridge. The stickers were immediately useful with some last minute cards I wrote tonight and the sparkly ornament was a very nice thought. Wow! I guess I need to look at a calendar more often! I forgot Thanksgiving was so late this year. We usually have at least a week between. I didn't even think about it when I set this up. I do the list as I get the emails which is how you are put into groups. I don't pick and choose who goes where. When I get your email you get added. So the list is ready. How about we see if any more sign up today and I will get the list emailed out tonight? I will post a last call for sign up separately. After I send the list I will post that it has gone out so you know to look for it. Please let me know after that if you didn't get it. I am going to convert the list to a .pdf format so everyone should be able to open the attachment with no problem. If I leave it as a word doc it seems not everyone can open it sometimes. Tami

I haven't heard from Dances to see if she got hers, but I think the rest of you did. I can't get an email thru to Daisy_3 so I'll be snail mailing her list to her today. Sandy let me know that Daisy's computer died, so at least I can take care of it, knowing what happened. Kath got hers. I copied and pasted everyones address to a list, and all the email addresses to another. For some reason, I couldn't just select all and copy to the address bar. It kept telling me there was an error. So I had to go thru the list and copy and paste each one seperately. Not a big deal, as long as I didn't miss anyone. Of course I did! I apologize again to Kathleen and Pattico! I hope I didn't miss anyone else. You are all very welcome. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tami

I just put the stamps on mine. I'll let the post office do my Canadian and France postage. Wish more had signed up. I enjoyed making them and hope everyone likes them

I didn't make mine this year. I had originally planned to not be on the card exchange this year, but changed my mind. They are store bought this time, but they are as full of love and holiday cheer as home made ones would have been.

I just need to address them and also take my Canadian and France ones to the post office for postage.

This is my first time with the card exchange and I also made them, which I've never done before either! It was fun digging thru all my scrapping junk and coming up with ideas.

Mine will go out one day next week.

store bought here too....I've been busy making Christmas gifts.

Haven't started addressing mine...but I can get ready by next week.

I made mine this year too and will have them in the mail after Thanksgiving. There's nothing wrong with store bought ones, in fact this is the first year I made mine, I stamped on the ones in years past but that's about all I did to them ;0)

Nope! I haven't even started. And they may end up being store bought, something you gals have never seen from me! DS just got a new job, with me as taxi. Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful he got it, (and it's full time!), but two round trips is about 50 miles! Seems like I'm on the road almost as much as when we are in the RV!

I don't even have mine. Mine will definitely not be hand made. I admire all of your creative types but I never seem to konw what to make. I should just do like some people and make 50 of the same thing. That will have to be my goal next year! This year it will be store bought but not this weekend. I won't step foot in any stores this weekend.

Mine have been ready since the weekend, now to just get them in the mailbox! I also finally used up all my 37 cent stamps- sorry some of the envelopes have quite a variety of postage denominations! LOL

The Queen of Procrastination laughs at the idea of being done with Christmas Cards before Thanksgiving.

Why, she hasn't even opened the book of potential ideas yet! She does, however, have a stash of store-bought cards just in case I (oops! I mean, SHE) runs out of time for home-made ones.

No, mine aren't ready. I haven't even ordered them, but I am getting them from the same person that I got them from last year and she mailed them immediately, so will email her tomorrow or the next day and see if she has enough to fill my order. My computer has been down for several days, so that slowed me down.

Ug. No. I'm doing mine this weekend, mailing them on Monday. Hopefully Oliver will let me put him down for long enough to get them done or it's going to take a loooooong time! He is a great baby, but wants to be in my arms constantly. I'm getting pretty good at one-handed typing! :) He hates his sling.... loves the Snugli, but only when I'm walking around.

My plan is to send them to everyone - I really want to, but we'll see how it goes.
