3. Yes, Living in a small city in Montana. The local organization who gave out food baskets and toys to underprivileged kids came up short, money-wise one year. I started a collection of donation cans on the counter of all the small convenience stores like ours. Between Thanksgiving an just before Christmas, we raised just under $900.That year they were able to give out all the toys that was needed. I still feel good about that. Dottie

And a good monday to you!!

Whats the most important thing to you?
-- That my kids are healthy, happy, well-adjusted and know they are loved.

Are you excited about Christmas?
-- Not yet. Not dreading it, either. I just don't have my brain there yet. That would be taking too many days at once for me right now. I need to slow my brain down.

Have you ever volunteered your time? If so for what?
-- Oh, yeah. It's a long list. I started volunteering along side my parents when I was about 9-10. Whatever community thing they were doing, we went along and did whatever kids can do. I did more in high school, my own choices. Biggest then was probably a crisis phone line, people call in for a multitude of reasons. I had to go through training to do that, then did it for about 4 years. Then chaired a big playground build (that time, my parents were working along side me every day, meant the world to me). Chaired a small playground build at the kids' school recently. And constantly at the kids' school, but that is a parent's job, not a selfless act.
