Despite a year of consistent exercise and a significant weight loss, my cholesterol levels are up. (Both total and HDL.) My doctor has recommended a statin medication.
Are any of you on statins? Looking at the possible side effects, I'm a bit concerned about the possibility of inflammation, muscle soreness, and fatigue. I already have several autoimmune diseases, including Addison's, and these are already a significant problem for me.
I'm not usually overly worried about side effects until they happen, but statins are all over the news for their side effects, so it got me wondering. If any of you are on them, what are your experiences?
You don't need to remind me to talk to my doctors - I always do. Thanks for the help!
