What do you want most for Christmas this year? a quiet day

Do you plan on seeing alot of people for Thanksgiving? There will probably be a total of 22 people and two visiting dogs to go along with our three.

It's political, so probably shouldn't say.

What do you want most for Christmas this year?
I don't want anything for Christmas. I am just glad my husband has a good job and we can do some work around the place.

Do you plan on seeing alot of people for Thanksgiving?
I don't plan on seeing anyone. Must remember to have my excuses ready when my friend invites me to have dinner with her family. She means well, and I always end up going, but I would much rather stay home.

What is your state known for?
For being Friendly.

Are you envious toward anyone at the moment? If so who? Not really envious of anyone, but I will be glad when I am back living in a finished house, so I am a little envious of people who can do simple things like cook when they want to. If you could dine with one celebrity once a week for a year, who'd it be? Martha Stewart. What type of surprises are your favorite? Finding a piece of really cool junk or antique at a yard sale for really, really cheap. What is one thing you have an obsession for? Unusual plants is one...and garden type stuff...pots, etc. is another. (I know you said one thing...but I had to name two.) Have a great day!

Does it get over 100 degrees where you live? Yes, it does; and it has been between 107Âº and 110Âº lately. Do you like to drink Iced Tea? If so do you have a ceratin flavor? I love Tropical iced tea. If you could have a new talent, what would it be? The ability to lose weight just by wishing it gone. What's your favorite food? I have two favorite meals, one of which is my Beef Wellington dinner which is our traditional Christmas dinner (Beef Wellington, mashed potatoes & gravy [or oven-browned potato wedges], glazed carrots, creamed corn, rolls & butter); and the other is the traditional Thanksgiving dinner -- roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls & butter. What color is your car? Dark green Whats your favorite song and by who? I don't have any one particular most favorite song, but one that I love to hear every night before I get off my 'puter and go to bed is Water / Va Pensiero by the Ten Tenors. What pair of shoes do you wear the most? Easy Spirit API, I have 4 pairs, and I wear them for comfort and ability to walk in them. They are ugly, but I must have a very flat shoe so I can walk. Do you wear hats/scarfs/gloves ect in the winter time? I wear gloves but rarely wear a hat or scarf What is the name brand of your printer? Do you like it and how long have you had it? An HP and I hate it. It does not compare in any way with the HP I had before. DH insisted that I get an all-in-one so he bought this one and gave my old one that was working perfectly fine, away. Robo-calls from Obama, McCain, Ed Rendell (gov.- Pa.), Bill & Hillary Clinton. Don't know what any of them had to say because I hang up on them. I can guess, though....

What do you want most for Christmas this year?
PC hardware & software that will allow me to burn irreplaceable VHS tapes of the kids etc. to DVD.

Do you plan on seeing alot of people for Thanksgiving?
Yes, some of whom I can do without!

Is there anything you are irritated with right now? If so what?
~ A long, rambling, Bible-quoting, anti-gay email from an acquaintance who wants to influence my vote at the 11th hour. (Good luck.)

What do you want most for Christmas this year?
~ Anything that's heartfelt and inexpensive. I don't want my kids to spend a lot of money on me this year. I'm cutting back, too.

Do you plan on seeing alot of people for Thanksgiving?
~ I'm looking forward to my DD's first Thanksgiving in her new house. She cooked a practice turkey this past weekend. :-)

What is your state known for?
~ Honeymoon hotels, the Amish, the Liberty Bell, and beautiful scenery. I didn't know about the corruption! But then, I'm a native New Yorker.

What do you want most for Christmas this year? already bought it..a new microwave (it was on sale)...wouldn't mind a tiny bling though, lol...

I know it is Wendesday, but can I copy and paste Wildchild's answers? Mine would be the same.

Maybe I'd add that I was irritated with censorship and the inability to be free to speak my mind because of the risk of offending someone. Oh boo hoo.
