My childhood! Used to love going to Bowring Park on a Sunday afternoon for a walk and an ice cream. Occasionally we would go for a row on the pond there too. Summertime, there was a part of the river that we would swim in, back in the days before it became polluted. The river has been rehabilitated though and there have been salmon seen it in again.

I am making a calendar for Mel out of all these barn shots. We rode RAGBRAI together when I shot those pictures. He loves barns. His birthday is the 23rd of December... and he still gets jibbed on presents...
