Debbie, it's in the 5th post down. AnnT says she used the Tarte au Sucre cake recipe for the dough and the cream cheese filling from the second recipe for the filling. AnnT is a marvelous cook and accomplished baker, I've never gone wrong with one of her recipes and I've been posting on the Cooking Forum for about 20 years along with her. Annie

Giggling here. As long as the threads are up to date, I don't care about the rest. Seems it is taking decorating to the extreme to worry about this. I used to love seeing the Wright quote-always made me smile picturing him saying that. In the end, I am fine if it is changed and fine if not. Not on my radar to worry or care about, I'm afraid. Karen, I mix in the Kitchenaid mixer. Doesn't require a long mix. Just a few minutes. Enough to to get the eggs and flour mixed well. This is a very soft dough. Once mixed, I just scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl and cover with plastic and refrigerate. Lizbeth, I toast the almonds and add them after the Danish is baked. First I drizzle with a little of the glaze, then add the toasted almonds, and drizzle with more glaze. Yes there is enough filling for the smaller Danish. I roll the dough out and cut into 3 or 4 inch squares. Cover and let rise for 35 to 40 minutes. Make an indent in the centre, using the back of a spoon or use your fingers. Brush with an egg wash and fill with the cream cheese filling. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes or until golden.

Another pinterest avoider here! When I'm researching something I skip over those photos too. Mama goose, interesting that you're required to log in each time. The site keeps me logged in, for some reason; I can't remember the last time I had to log in here. I have the GW home forums page saved as a quick link in my browser bar. Brings it right up, with no pop up for log in. I just restarted my computer, to double check; still no log in required. I wonder what the difference is...? I’m on an aging PC with Windows Vista; Foxfire browser; my shoe size is 8 and I have green eyes, if that helps. ;-) There are so many different ways to do things on computers, and so many different possible components affecting any one result. Sometimes I think it would be easier to figure out how they built the ancient pyramids. (At least those types of questions are not a moving target, changing every other day.)
