When they were going to show the count down of favorite dances of past seasons, I knew which one I remembered and liked the best, and it turned out to be the #1 dance by Drew Lashea (sp?) and Cheryl Burk, the western type dance to the song Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.

As for the dances tonight, I was disappointed in Jennifer Greys and was surprised how well Bristal did.

We said the Ride a Cowboy would be the #1 favorite dance too. Actually, I liked Jennifer's dance. I thought Brandi was awful in the dance off.

I enjoyed the show. Jennifer was not up to snuff tonight. Thought Bristol did a good job. My favorite dance of all time was Apollo Ono and Julianne Hough doing the quick step. I actually watched it in slow motion and it was incredible how in sync they were through out the whole dance.

Brooke is playing the sympathy card. Think about it. This is the entertainment industry -- they always have a contract. If Brooke's contract did not include this upcoming season and she hadn't been in negotiations to extend the contract, then she shouldn't have expected to be returning, especially so close to the start of the new season. If she had been in contract negotiations, she should have had enough sense to realize that the negotiations weren't going her way, and she shouldn't have expected to be returning, especially so close to the start of the new season. And, if she actually had a new contract for this season and then ABC opted to cancel the contract, then she has nothing* to complain about because the contract would have included a buy-out which means she would have been paid a handsome sum of money for being let go. *The only thing she could possibly complain about is if her agent and/or manager had negotiated a contract that didn't include a buy-out clause; and if that's the case, her complaining should be against/about her manager and/or agent. Not the network, not the show itself.

Cher has had so much plastic surgery that when she speaks, parts of her face don't move. I was a big fan of her and Sonny when my aunt worked for them and took care of Chastity when she was a toddler. I got to visit my aunt and chat with Sonny & Cher a couple of times. Now I think she just looks ridiculous with a 30 year old face. I guess that is how she makes her money.

No, Rob, that's my fat cat, Henry. No worries about HIS food intake. The cat I'm worried about is a small sleek Russian blue type although she was a rescue in a feral colony. She totally fits the hyperthyroidism condition at almost 15. . She's completely normal acting except she eats more than usual and remains skinny.

I also think that Derek should not have put up that photo of Bindi and her dad at the end of their dance last night. For the dance those two did several weeks ago that was dedicated to Steve Irwin, it was appropriate. But last night, it was overly pandering, and Bindi, imo, doesn't need the manipulation of people's emotions to win this thing. I think Bindi can do it based on her own merits, and Derek should trust the process and accept the outcome instead of trying to heavily influence it.

I can't see how Macs and Brandy won the marthon. She wasn't good at all.
Bristol was great tonight. I thought Cheryl danced and Rick just pushed her, where to stand. He wasn't so good either. IMO

I thought Brandy did great tonight (well, last night) in both dances. Bristol did great, too.

I thought Bristol did well. Jennifer did ok until her stumble at the end. Not sure who should be going home tonight, maybe Audrianna (sp?). Her technique is good, but she lacks emotion.

Georgysmom - I agree, my favorite dance was Apollo and Julianne's quick step. I really miss her on dwts. She reminds me of a young Doris Day.

My favorite is still Kyle (hope that's his name) for his size and age I think he does great

I, too, thought Bristol did well. Jennifer was good but it was just a little too fast like the judges said.

Wasn't overly impressed with the others tonight.

I did enjoy seeing the old episodes. Sure wish they would come out with the DVD's of the shows.

I was glad that Kyle made it thru. I really don't like Jennifer or her dancing. I thought most of the music last night was terrible and a lot of the dancing specials were rather far out. JMHO

We have to make sure we watch it next Monday!
It's there 200th (or 100th) episode, I forget.

A lot of the excellent dancers from previous shows will be there.
Drew Lachey, Apollo, Krist Yamaguchi (sp), and others.
It will be a great show, I'm sure.

This show is a popularity contest or Audrina would not have gone home. How does Palin keep on when Audrina got all 8's and was good in the marathon. She is a beautiful graceful dancer and the judges were not happy. Just give the crown to Palin who is as graceful as an ox.She was almost first eliminated in the marathon and last week's monkey dance was the worst I ever saw.
