Has anyone seen them live? My MIL really wants me to go to their show with her. I'll probably go since it will be something different to do, but wondering if anyone had a comment about them?

My friend saw them a week ago, and she said she and Dh really enjoyed!

If you like the Four Seasons, then you'll like the show. If you don't..... don't go.
I've seen it twice. The SF company was excellent. We walked out of the LV version. It had really bad actors and singers.

That is so cool that you were able to meet a fellow wintersower, and score some plants! I haven't met anyone from this forum, it seems that the majority are on the eastern half of the country. I did get to visit with someone from the Rocky Mountain forum last fall, and this year (in May) I am going to drive over 200 miles to attend the RMG Spring Plant Swap. I hope to meet Irisgirl, who also hangs out here sometimes. Obviously, I'm not going for the FREE plants, since I'll spend more than what they would have cost me, in gas getting there and back. To be able to meet people that I feel like I already know, and put faces with names will be so fun. Plus, planting something from a friend's garden gives the plant special meaning. You'll never think of the the plants without thinking of the person that gave them to you! Bonnie

Thanks for all the reviews! Cyn, how cool is that ?!? I had a similar experience with a certain famous Rolling Stone back in my early twenties. My kids were at first mortified when they found out, but now (finally) think that it's kind of neat, but funny. Still, those stories are great ones . . . after the fact, and many years later . . . to pass on to our kids and future generations. Mom/Grandma wasn't always so old and "out of it" (LOL)! Lynn

abby221, we thought of going to see Promises Promises, how was it? There was just so many shows to pick from it was hard to decide. georgymom, the only museum we walked into was the museum of sex, but didn't pay the fee to actually go in the back, we just browsed around the front of the place where they were selling t-shirts, books and other stuff. We kept saying we should go here and here, but never enough time to do everything. I think we needed a month or so there to take everything in. Saw Macy's but never made it in. We also went to Ground Zero, and took a ferry to Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty. Applied to see the David Letterman Show, but never got the call back and went to Rockerfeller Center but never early enough to see the Today Show. I think a trip back is needed.

Butcher - I look forward to your Jersey Boys ripening and looking inside of the fruit that grows on your vines and see how it compares in taste and appearance from my results! Your plants look great - it won't be long now! Wormgirl - There is no obvious preference between Jersey Boy and Better Boy for me - All I have done is complicated/improved my growing list by growing Jersey Boy because now I want both Jersey Boy and Better Boy in our GH !! The plants appear identical in plant vigor, production, truss size, fruit size and fruit color - all great!! The Jersey Boy is a bit flatter fruit and the Better Boy does have that green gel you mentioned and I did notice that Jersey Boy does not have the green gel. I have not seen the green gel yet in the Jersey Boy tomato. Haha - that is interesting you don't prefer the green gel - now I will always look for the green gel when I eat a tomato - haha - I never really paid much attention to it in the past. I agree - the green gel doesn't look quite as appetizing though!? Better Boy has always been a great performer for us!!

We loved it when we saw it on Broadway, but I am a major Four Seasons fan.

Saw the traveling version 2 years ago and it had to have been my favorite Broadway show. Bought tickets for next spring when they're back in town. Loved it!

We loved it! But Lindakathy is right, you have to like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, which we do! It was well done, imo.

We saw it in Las Vegas and Toronto. Even though I am not a big Frankie Valli fan, I enjoyed it.

I don't care for the Four Seasons but I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway 2 years ago and I thought it was astounding. I'm amazed at how much I enjoyed the show. The sets are very simple but it helps to keep the focus on the music; the actors I saw were perfectly cast; and the music was toe tapping and energetic. A really great show.

I saw it in San Francisco. Great performers. Great show. I really enjoyed and I am not that much into musicals as a rule.

I'd love to see it. I was a big Four Seasons Fan back in the 60's. I had some of their records on 45 but my younger sister stole them. She also stole my dress shoes from my prom and wrecked them with her big feet.

Saw them in Vegas last year and absolutely LOVED the show. I've been to many, many shows in Vegas and this is the only one I'd go to a second time.
