I have gotten allergic to eye liner too, so I have quit using it. You might try Almay or another hypoallergenic eye liner.

i used to use maybelline always but for some reason with my allergies i cant use anything anymore, unless i want itchy watery eyes that feel like they are stuffed with sandpaper! yuk sorry not much help here

Bobbie Brown makes a great gel eye liner that lasts all day long.

I assume you have been using liquid eyeliner. If so, would you consider switching to pencil?

I have used a Mac eyeliner pencil for some time now, which lasts well for me and has not caused my eyes to water.

I know 2 ladies that had theirs tattooed on OUCH!!

I gave up liquid eyeliner, too. I like a Revlon pencil, and also a couple by Avon.

I have used both pencil and liquid, maybe I just can't wear it. Sigh.....

The last few years I've noticed that when I use makeup, my eyes burn and water. I've changed eyeliners 2 or 3 times with the same results. Then one day I decided not to use eye shadow and the burning, itching, watering stopped. Who knew?

Mary Kay eye liners are great.
I used the liquid for a long time but recently switched to the pencil. Both are long lasting.

Are you sure it's the liner?
The problem could be the mascara, shadow or even your skin care products.

Try Stila smudgepot and a liner brush. Lasts all day. I've also heard good things about the Bobbi Brown gel that was mentioned.

I use a very, very thin paintbrush to apply mine. I dip it in oil free makeup remover to get it wet, then I use the eyeshadow of my choice, to line my eyes. I also use Mac and Sephora pencils.

I use Bare Minerals and Meow Minerals powder liner and shadow. I mix it with a small amount of water which sets the powder and makes it easier to draw the liner. (I'm currently using Meow Cosmetics Feliners)

I also use Urban Decay eyeshadow primer as a base - it is THE best stuff I've ever used to prevent shadown creasing and keeping liner on.

I like Avon Glimmersticks, they go on easily and don't make me itchy or watery!

I use the Bare Minerals powder liners as well, but I use Visine to wet the brush with. Something about the salts in the Visine "sets" the color and helps it to last longer. I've noticed one or two colors that I'm allergic to, but for the most part my sensitive eyes like them just fine :-)
