My problem is I usually "wing it" on spelling and then go and look it up to see if I was right. Mostly because if I'm typing in the response box on GW and go elsewhere I lose my post and have to start over. I never could remember the rules for punctuation and grammar...just go by what looks right. For all those who enjoyed the hilarious book by Lynne Truss, "Eats, Shoots & Leaves". I'm enjoying an omnibus edition of her 3 comic novels which make me laugh out loud. Just mentioning in case you need a good summer read. Hello and thank you for sharing your experiences. Here I am having the same issue. Almost 5 months ago while I was on vocation with my family suddenly I felt a sudden weakness of both arms which it lasted for 30-40 seconds. Then in a month it happened again and again; randomly. I also have some difficulty breathing but non of them are related to each other. Shortness of breath happens mostly when I go to sleep and it goes away while the weakness of arms has no such a time or any other sign that helps me to figure out what and why i did go to the doctor and after many test and check ups no diagnosis. However my doctor said it could be from the stress Today I had two episodes in a row while I was working with a little boy ( I am an ABA provider) Lately though I have been thinking if it’s related to the heavy begs that I carry all day long since travel from Staten Island-Brooklyn-Manhattan and back ( using public transportation) Does anyone have any idea about what age am thinking about? Furthermore, today I read that Hypothyroidism must be one of the causes that might be connected to arm weakness

Don't be to quick to judge a person for bad grammar, especially if the person is older like a lot of us. Finding words sometimes is very difficult as you age. My husband has AZ and he lost nouns so eventually he couldn't speak to others at all. Also people with dyslexia and other problems can't speak well. You have no idea how long it takes me to compose an email or a post in these forums, partly because of proof reading so I will not offend anyone and I don't have any of the above problems. I am just old as dirt. I have learned in forums that you can speak just a few words and you will be judged forever as one you don't want to be friendly with. On a lighter note, I found when raising small children you lose some of your grammar skills. For instance one child used the word "gots" as in I gots lots of candy. Pretty soon all the parents were saying "gots". LOL

I've always been more interested in ideas than spelling. actually, and on this forum, I tend to just spit things out and write very informally...as if I'm talking. So forgive glaring errors, some of them are just typos and some just I didn't bother to check. I notice I'm often leaving out the apostrophes on contractions when I type...that little finger just doesnt want to move over to the apostrophe button. So just ignore those, ok? Another one who stumbles over vacuum. I always hesitate over religious too. I was a good speller in school but in Gr. 6 I got that one wrong on a spelling test and to this very day, still struggle to remember to put that last i in. I keep wanting to spell it religous. I've met a number of Americans who say "drug" when they talk..like "I got drug over to the inlaws for dinner." Is this an American thing?
