I really hated to see JJ go. I'm not surprised that Lone Star was cancelled - it wasn't very good. I'm also having a hard time getting into "The Event" and "Detroit-1-87".

I like Criminal Minds a lot and was sorry to see JJ go. It will be interesting to see what goes and what stays. The Event is iffy in my mind.

I enjoy Criminal Minds but don't follow it closely enough to even know the character's names, except the kid doctor, Reid is it? Maybe I don't even know that much! Never heard of Lone Star.

Event reminds me a bit of LOST I don't think I'll want to fall into 5 years of following a show that ended so lame. I'm willing to watch it for a while.

Criminal minds is one of my favorites and I will also miss JJ.

CM is on now and I'm wearing my earphones so I don't have to listen to it. CM is very disturbing. Every show is about torturing women. I think Reid's new hairstyle is comical.

I love Criminal Minds and was so shocked when JJ left. I even watch the reruns. I have watched The Defenders twice now and really like it. Last week I caught The Outlaw..dont know where I stand with it just yet

It seems like most of the new shows this year are police or crime shows. Too much all in one season.

Hubby loves that show, me not so much.

He caught Chase last week and really likes it. I have to catch up on Chase and Undercovers on the computer. I haven't seen either of them.

I got into Big Bang Theory through the summer and it's hilarious.
The cast is on our national morning show later this morning....I can't wait to see what Jim Parsons is like out of character.

jasdip, tell your hubby that Human Target will return on November 17. We also love that show.

I only watched a minute last night, we bailed on Criminal Minds a while back, but I too though Reid looked too punky and ridiculous with that hair, it totally ruins his geeky persona, now he's too "hip". One reason we gave the show up was because of inappropriate relationship between 2 of the characters, it was too sickening to listen to all that "baby girl" stuff. Reid was the only one I really liked, actually. I miss Mandy Patinkin. His replacement didn't do it for me. Too dour.

We watch Human Target, too, but it's not that great, it's just something to watch. I do like the main character though and the love/hate teasing that he does with the other guy.

I just read that Outlaw (Jimmy Smits) and Lone Star have been canceled.

The only new drama I am watching is The Event. Not sure I'll continue watching it... if I do it'll probably be canceled anyhow. lol

That's the good thing about reality TV. They never cancel that in the middle of a season (not that I've known of anyhow).

Well if they have canceled Outlaws, that sorta tells me where I stand on it.
I hate when they cancel shows..my favorite from last season got canceled right in the middle..The Forgotten.

I have been enjoying that new comedy with William Shatne. I cant think of the name of it..There is something about it that just makes me want to watch and turn it at the same time.

Lydia, a few years ago they tried that show on the pirate ship, remember? They only showed about 6 or 7 episodes (that fake English accent that one guy did probably was the reason for the bad ratings!) and then you had to watch them online if you cared enough to see who "won". I didn't, so I still don't know. lol

The only new shows I've seen this year are Hawaii 5-0 and Detroit 1-8-7. Both have been good, not great, just good.

Criminal Minds is not a show for the faint heart. I watch it, but not religiously...Last night I caught it because I watch Survivor and The Defenders...And didn't have anything to do between 9-10..LOL

I didn't like the Detroit 1-8-7..for a cop show there are better ones out there. Haven't tried Hawaii 5-0.

I'm still a Criminal Minds fan. I'm glad they finally updated Reid's look. They need to go a bit shorter though. Being I live in the land of real "geeky" guys and my DS certainly qualifies along with many of his friends I do know the look. "Geeky" guys are cool. They also get all the hot chicks. They wear Versace and Baby King along with the raggy swag. LOL

I though "Outlaw" was OK. Kind of like Shark except a little too liberal preachy with the cases they chose.

Love the new Shatner sitcom. Also watch modern Family and The Middle.

Has anyone noticed that the Cleveland comedy with Betty white and Valerie Bertinelli seems to have disappeared?

It was funny, but predictable.

I'm glad Reid's hair is shorter.....the long greasy hair turned me right off.

Hot In Cleveland will return with a new season in January according to the website I watch it on.

The Good Wife is still one of my favorites. I enjoy the Good Guys too. I like a lot of the new shows, but they all seem to be crime shows, either cops or lawyers. Overkill.

We're enjoying Blue Bloods with Tom Selleck and we really enjoy Lie to Me. That guy is just bonkers but we love him.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Stella from CSI NY leaving. The new gal doesn't interest me in the least. We liked Flash Point, but it continues to be only a summer replacement show. All in all I can't say there are any shows new or old that keep me wanting more.
