Hi--don't know if this will work

My computer is still in crash mode, but a tech came today. Unfortunately my Gateway didn't come with a back up/restore disc. Had to be ordered separately which I should've done when I got the computer. Anyway I had to order the disc AND pay for having it shipped "overnight" which in Gateway's language translates into 3-5 days. My tech "talked" to them via the site rather stingingly and hopefully that worked for us instead of against us.

Anyway, I wanted to let you all know I've been missing you like crazy and can't wait to get back. I have no idea if this will show up or not!!

Not sure how easy it would be to build a concrete oforo tub but why not get a wood oforo for the sauna? You could also just get an acrylic Japanese tub like the Americh and cover it with wood slats. There is a company based in the U.K that makes Japanese soaking tubs out of a proprietary lightweight stone mix. I will find the link and post it shortly. The price including shipping to the US is reasonable for the product. Cabuchon is the name of company and the Calyx is the small soaking tub Good luck!

I see where you are coming from on the lights. This is just bad measuring/laziness. The brick work is lazy patch work as well. Sometimes I noticed during my build, that shortcuts and double checking did not happen. I had rooms that were not the size they originally were supposed to be. That was a big issue, but I kept my measuring tape on me when I would check on the framing after hours. Two walls had to be moved in my build, but I caught it soon enough. Contractors like to work fast and juggle multiple jobs. It’s best to check everything they do. Just be more cautious checking the finish work. I found a lot that I had to personally fix myself. I am just trying to give you guidance from a person who is not a contractor. Just on the receiving end as yourself.

Can you swap the bookcase onto the wall where the picture is and move the sofa into the corner. It looks too close to the tv and I think if it were in the corner it would look

It will be fine. The sink comes with a template. If the template says it'll work, it'll work.

That back up, restore disc was my problem too. No one said a word. I feel your pain. The more computer friends you have the better your life is.

You have a whole fan club who missed you. That'a good thing.

Hi everybody and thank you. I sure have missed you guys. It's been a bad couple of weeks--both of us sick, then the computer crashed and didn't want to have the tech come in and catch our croup. Then Sunday the air conditioner stopped cooling. It's just one thing after another and isn't fun when you don't feel like coping with it.

I don't know how long this is going to last. Hopefully, if I don't turn the computer off it'll let me stay on, but my C-drive is in Neverland somewhere. I sure hope he can retrieve my Word. I have all the recipes I haven't printed out in there and sure would hate to lose them.

Sweet Glenda called to see if we were okay and I thank you again for your concern.

Joann, I will call you soon. Have company coming overnight Monday so I need to work on cleaning and menus.

Thanks again--gee, it's so good to talk to you all again.

If you can find your Word and the recipes etc immediately copy them and paste to one of thoe memory sticks They aren't expensive if you can get to almost any kind of store.

Patti,
You can also open a Google account, and on Documents, you can transfer all of your Word documents there. No copying and pasting, you just transfer.

Then you can access your recipes anywhere, online, through Google documents.
