need advise for ashley,please

As some knows greg and I are soon to have our first grandson.Yes its a BOY,Travis Todd.Ashley called me last nite and said mom travis has the hipcups in my stomach.Words may be misspelled as I am just getting up. its been 23 years of Monday Sept 26 since I had Ashley.I did not know the answer.But I knew who to ask my dear friends here.Thanks for all the advise anyone can give me to tell her,Hugs Judy ps also pray for her she has the croop coughing VERY bad,bad bad headaches since the change of the weather.They only let her take tyno[can not spell this word but maybe you know what I am trying to say.We take motrin which is alot better.So any advise.Greg told her to go to her baby dr that is going to deliver the baby or call.She had a bad asthmas attach the other nite and had to have a breathing treatment.Thanks to all.I miss you all.Her due date is feb 3.HUGS Judy

I'm not sure if I'm answering your question, but hiccups in fetuses is very common. When I was pregnant with DS, he had them all the time. Ashley doesn't have to do anything about that.

As for the hiccups, I don't think you can do anything. Just wait it out.

I'm not sure if I'm reading correctly, but are you saying that Ashley can only take tylenol and it's not working for her? I know for myself some sort of ibuprofen/motrin works better than tylenol, but she should not take an NSAID while pregnant. Can cause premature labor. If she needs something else she needs to talk to her provider. Mild narcotics like vicodin can be taken during pregnancy, but she needs to talk to her physician. Good luck.

Yes, follow la_la’s suggestion with paper. I would place them fairly close together…maybe 2-3 inches apart but see what looks good to you. Keep them close enough to the wainscot so they’re not ”floating” above it and the chairs. FWIW, I’ve been using Command hooks for hanging art. They’re great…no holes. Just pay attention to weight limits. ETA - Good spacing from lisedv.👍🏻

I don't want to be unkind, but same as your paint colors were oppressively dark, you have too many dark pieces together in the living room with the navy sofa, dark rug and dark coffee table and all cool tones except the Halloween decorations.. I would suggest looking at living rooms with navy sofa's on Houzz and see how the rooms are designed. You need more contrast and I would love to see more warmth. I am going to steer you away from using gray. Gray was the trend for 10 years and just in the past few years have we really seen people moving away from gray and toward warmer neutrals and more color and the over used white on white. (It seems the gray trend left many with a fear of color -hence the white on white on white on white). You don't need to bring in bright colors, but even warmer neutrals can help balance the navy and gray. Here is an example of something I found on the internet of a gray and navy living room. This looks a bit dull and boring. . . But when they add just a bit of warmth the navy and gray have something to play with and the room is given life. Personally, I would like to see a plant with some yellow tones or the silver handles on the lights done in a gold. Just one touch of the warmer tone on the other side of the sofa.

Fetal hiccupping is a normal phenomenon that's been felt by many pregnant women and has been observed on many an ultrasound. Your baby may have started hiccupping intermittently beginning in the late first or early second trimester, although you wouldn't have been able to feel the hiccups at that early stage.

My daughter had hiccups in utero. I wouldn't be worried unless the hiccups become very frequent... and even that seems to be normal for some babies.

Hiccups are normal for babies! I think Tylenol is best for pregnant ladies, but ask her doctor. I like his name-very cute! My mom's birthday is Feb 2 (2/2) Good Luck!

When I was pregnant with my so, he got hiccups EVERY day around 4:00pm. After he was born. he got hiccups EVERY day...around 4:00pm!! lol There's nothing Ashley can or needs to do!! Congratulations on the GrandSON!!!!

she might try a warm shower (NOT bath) for her headache...the water can be very soothing...have her watch salt intake, diet in general...all those baby hormones can be a headache trigger...

My DD had asthma while she carried her second girl years ago. The Dr. did monitor her all during her pregnancy and in fact had a bad attack during delivery. Years later found out it was NOT asthma, but food allergies. Might be a good thing for her to check with the Dr. That little one just turned 14 and is a typical teenager. Mom is still doing fine.

My ob/gyn told me hiccups were usually a sign of a healthy baby. He said he didn't know what caused them, but I've read that some people believe they are caused by a growth spurt.

Our grandson hiccupped a lot before he was born. Nothing to worry about. He did not hiccup much once he was born.

sorry I am just now getting back to you all,but I been busy baking a cake ,Thank you all that reply to my post and for your advise.I was telling the lady that works at the drug store and she laughed,she the old wise tell was that when the baby has the hipcups its growing hair,LOL,Ashley said mom's that is what my boss said,she said mom when he decides to move he sticks his feet right up in my ribs,she said it hurts so bad.Me and greg went shopping for our grandson.Someone said I can tell you one thing that grandson will be spoiled rotten by greg[my dh]some of you know greg by me posting here all these years and he has a BIG heart,Ashley is spoiled too,being the only child.But I miss you all and again thanks for all your replys,greg;s off after monday for two weeks[vacation and we purchase a logout-doorbuilding]so so cute,has a loft and porch and I am purching two rockers for the porch.I may decide to move out there.I have always wanted a log house to live in.But in the two weeks greg is off they are suppose to move it in and set it up for us.there is a certain place we want it so that is why we will be very busy.Thanks for letting me talk.Hugs to all Judy in alabama
