A VERY funny thread.....Must Read.

I was looking on some other GW Forums last nite and came across this hilarious topic in Home Disasters.

It's titled "Cat threw up in the washing machine" and since there are so many of us animal lovers here, we can certainly relate.

If you want a good laugh, check it out. I wish there were a way of bringing it over here.

There is a way...using the optional link url below the box that you type your message in. I copied the url that showed in my address bar when viewing the thread, then I pasted it into the box for the link url.

HGTV used to be on from morning til we went to bed, if only for background noise. I'd hear something interesting coming from an HGTV show, it was really easy to turn on the TV in the room I was in or go running into the TV room to watch that particular part of an episode. The last couple years, HGTV is only on in the wee hours of the mornings on Saturday and Sunday while husby and I wake up over coffee. I will watch David Bromstead's show, Devine Design and Landscapers Challange because I can usually see where I could incorporate one of those hosts' ideas into my own home, even if my version doesn't cost nearly what theirs did, the idea is doable. But seeing this post, it reminded me of some posts I read the other night/wee hours of the morning. Seems IRS has caught up with Banyan Productions via Discovery Channel and the homeowners are getting big surprises in their mailboxes in the form of 1099's. From what I read, the homeowners themselves are writing about their experiences and about receiving the 1099's. Some of the homeowners were never informed....ouch! Wonder if HGTV homeowners are seeing the same in their mailboxes? On Designer's Challenge where the cost of a landscape re-design costs as much as my whole house did, I feel for those folks if they weren't notified in advance. I think Ellen is one of the funniest people on TV....I don't watch her everyday, just catch it every once in awhile, but I think she's great....Years ago, I saw her do a short stand up skit and it was all about toilet paper....One of the funniest things I've ever seen........

I love that email... i have it saved in my "saved" mail folder. that email came with pictures..soo funny!!! so true if you have a dog and cat!!!! the first time i read it i was laughing so hard...it is great!!!!!! love the video alphaba...my dog and cat would never tolerate that, either way. although i wish they would, but they do get along very nicely most of the time. the cat tortures the dog alot which is hysterical. he is long gone and she is still wondering what the H**L just happened! they make us laugh every day...what a joy they are. thanks again for the video!

I don't have any names, but this thread really made me smile because my grandma used to cut articles out of the paper when they had funny names like this in them. She had a whole pile of them and kept them in a tin can (the kind cookies and candy sometimes comes in). We'd pull them out and read them every once in a while :-)

They used to have one about a cat who fell in "love" with the Tickle Me Elmo doll. It disappeared several years ago and I have missed it ever since. We had a printed copy but with time it fell in disrepair.

Oh my gosh...I laughed till I cried! There have been several threads here on the KT that made me do that too. I should have saved them!

I feel great now!! And that's something, because it's Monday and I HATE Mondays!!

C'mon Good, be brave and go for it!! A cat does offer a tremendous amount of love and affection and great hilarity.

Here you go, Jann.

I remember the cat/washing machine thread and it is funny. I had a cat that threw up at least twice a day, she would gobble food really fast and then find the most creative ways to get rid of it. Gosh, even after 16 years times 365 days times 2, I still miss my Tess. lol
