Thanks for the reminder. My old VCR clock changed itself last weekend. I reset it, but I guess I'll have to do everything myself on Sunday morning.

Poor Hubby. We call the time change his national holiday--he's got SO many clocks to change in our house. And this year, with 2 houses--he's going to go nuts.

Perfect timing this year, though--the day after Halloween, so the little ghosts and goblins can trick or treat while it's still light.

I like the time change, too. Not sure exactly how to explain it, but it makes the days 'right'.

I email my adult kids. They are used to Mom warning them.

And I love DST until the mornings are too dark.

I'll be glad to have the mornings be a bit lighter now.

We had to change the opposite direction last weekend. Just started daylight saving for the last year of a 3-year trial. Then it goes to a vote I think or maybe our new State government will make the decision about next year. It really doesn't affect me personally one way or the other but I know we will be hearing lots and lots of discussion about it on the TV and in the papers. Beth

This is the first year Daylight Savings has been after Halloween (at least in my memory). I always thought it was dumb to have kids running around the dark streets on Halloween night and wished for years that they would change to the week after Halloween. Finally my wish came true. Hopefully it will save some lives this year.

I grew up in Hawaii (where it is not used) and moved to the mainland in 3rd grade. Couldn't understand what everyone was talking about-changing clocks? Thought everyone was either crazy or lying!

I would prefer staying on Daylight Savings Time year round. I don't like the time change. My hubby will be busy clock changing too.

I'm another one who would prefer it to stay on DST year round.

I am one of the lucky ones that never has to change time and love it. Just have to keep up with what time zones everyone is in so I will know what time it is there when I call.

Last year my DVD/VCR changed to new time at wrong time and so I had to change it and then it changed when it changed but to wrong time. So, I have to keep it on manual and do it myself.
