Have you noticed this?

Since the widespread use of computers and Facebook I have noticed how many younger people are using this phrase....

"I could of" gone to the store, "I could of".... Instead of "could have" or "would have" whatever. Some of these people are in education too.Is it wrong to correct them on this improper use of english, or just ignore it?

It makes me crazy to think that so many people do not know how to use the verb" have".
