Thanks, Eloise! All of the pics I take are when my camera is on the Auto setting, because I have no clue how to use it, otherwise. LOL With my A95 (and probably all of these similar Canons), I love how I can get rid of most of the "shakes" by holding the button all the way down. The camera (usually) auto-focuses for me, which is nice, since I hardly ever use our tripod. About the only thing I don't like about this camera is the long wait necessary in between flash photos. I really appreciate the flip-out LCD screen, as well as the size of it, too! My folks have another model with a smaller screen that isn't moveable, and it's definitely more difficult to view previews on it. You're right about the quarter, Bearstate. The preview looked clear, but when I viewed it on my computer, it appeared more blurry. I haven't had that issue with the usual pics I take (flowers, nature stuff...), so I imagine a coin collector wanting to take pics of his stash might have issues. :D From about 2 ft. away, with above lighting and flash - I usually do some editing in Paint Shop Pro (size, sharpness, contrast) before sharing my pics, as well. Some day, we'll get an upgrade on this camera, but until then, I'm enjoying the heck out of it. :) Brenda

Every year, about this time, we have a ton of dragonflies around here. They're not migratory. I believe it's just their life cycle. Most of the year they live in the water as a nymph which doesn't look at all like a dragonfly. Probably, different species, emerge at different times and rates. In the late afternoon I can look West, across one of our pastures, and see hundreds, if not thousands of them, with the sun glinting off of their wings. It's a beautiful sight, and even more so, because I know they are so beneficial! George Tahlequah, OK

I would like to add an amendment to my tile details. In the way back of my mind, I kept thinking that I had purchased Jeffrey Court tiles, but couldn't find my invoice from Best Tile to prove it. Finally came across my box of leftover tiles in the garage and sure enough, they ARE Jeffrey Court tiles. I'm not sure if Best Tile has exclusive rights to carrying this particular tile/line, but since so many of you have asked about my backsplash, perhaps this bit of info may help. Specifically, the tile is Jeffrey Court 3x6 field tiles, part # 519505 in Glacier. I'm thinking that if a store carries Jeffrey Court, they may be able to order this piece.

Thank you everyone. Tequila sometimes shows more yellow, but the color shown is normal. For the most part these roses are all good bloomers, I would say that Belinda's Dream blooms the most. Angel Face is new this year, but looks very promising so far. It, Orchid Romance, Sunsprite and Sheila's Perfume are very fragrant. I also have Poseidon, it had a hard time getting started and only bloomed late in the season, didn't get a good picture. The bush is looking healthy, so hopefully it will survive the winter and take off next year. Kate, I hope Love Song does really good for you, it is truly a lovely rose. Jasmine, I hope JC continues to do good for you too, they are both great roses. Those two and OLOG are gorgeous in full bloom, they look great in the landscape. Thanks for mentioning some of your favorites, I love learning all I can about good roses.
