need a chair

Okay, I got wonderful suggestions on a pillow (they should be here early next week). Now I need to find a chair for the living room. We are expecting to move next Spring so I want something that is portable and since we have "no real taste" for decorating, I am considering lawn furniture, lol

Does anyone have a zero-gravity chair? I found this one at overstock.com

Any suggestions on comfortable yet portable chairs?

Janie, I've been wanting one of those. I have back probs. and thought it might be comfortable. If you order one, let us know how you like it. Now and then the Kohl's ad has them, but don't know if the clarksburg store would.

I had one and it can really pinch your fingers when setting it up or taking it down. Be careful. I got rid of mine for a regular chase.

I did a massive months long search for the chairs we bought and discovered most sites will carry the same chair and just attach a different style name to it. With that in mind, the best thing you can do is forget about which site you're looking on and just focus on finding a style you like. Once you do then find the best price at a store that offers them. Be sure that where ever you buy from has an easy return policy and is responsive if there is a problem. I found there were a lot of "catches" in the return policies with many of the online only stores and didn't want to deal with that. So my buying criteria insisted on there being a store front locally. The best deal offered for what we wanted was at of all places Kohl's! They had the best price and a very easy return policy as well plus they shipped quick and were here in no time at all.

Help needed with chair cushions

I used to have one many years ago. 50's or 60's is a close approximate of age, since I got married in 1959, and bought the chair shortly after that new from a furniture store. bbstx is correct, it had the box cushions on it, and was very comfortable. I dont remember anymore either, but, I really think it had springs in the seat cushion. It is a bit larger than the ones that are sold currently as nursery chairs, and had much thicker cushions. Mine was maple.

@beverlyFLADeziner , i like the way to superimpose the pictures and show it on my livingroom. It helps me visualize better. I like the third rug, but not sure whether it is too bold for me I like the rug suggested by @celerygirl , want to go some colorful chair though. @Groveraxle you completelty changed my vision for this room. I should say , i would have never envisioned that rug/chair in my room , but once you put it i can see how they all come together with that nice wall art. How do you guys do that picture editing? This might really help me in figuring out the right furniture/rug for my space. Or can i post the rugs/chairs I am thinking , can someone help me visualize it with photos? Again thank you everyone for your great suggestions and your valuable time.

The bedroom is rather small, but has a lovely view outside to a garden, the window is being changed to French doors with a small patio soon, The walls on each side are short The wall is awaiting a pine clothing armoire to fit on that wall I left a sewing machine chair just so you could get the size. The half bath opens up into the room but door does reach the side wall The window is being removed for a French door with a small patio. The bedroom is for overnight guests only. I do have a sheet set for this double bed from brooklinen that has a beautiful red thin vine for a change of sheets. The bedroom set was painted to match the cabinet sink in the bathroom. This bedroom is in the Napa Redwoods.

Seriously.....if you don't care what it looks like then go to Craigslist and get a FREE club chair. I DO have a chair similiar to the one you posted.....we use it for camping. You can't lean forward in it....it holds your feet up....yuck.

Nicole, good idea. I just checked the Morgantown Craig's List (don't have one here). They are pretty sparse- school started back 2 weeks ago so there is not much to be had.

i forgot to add, I have a nice old recliner but it is NOT helping my herniated disc. Need to find something that is more supportive.

We have 2 and love them. Can fall asleep in them very easily. We take them to Florida each winter. They are very heavy, that is the only drawback.
Bought the side tables this year that attach to the sides. Chairs and side tables from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
