Help! I roasted a turkey yesterday. Husband requested turkey and noodles. I'm at a loss. Only thing I could think of is, like, chicken and dumplings, but with noodles instead of fluffy dumplings that I usually drop on top? How thick/thin should it be? Will you share how you make them, please?
Well, I cooked my turkey drumsticks in a mix of water, butter and salt with a tad of rum flavoring overnight in a crock pot on low. The next morning took the turkey out and strained the broth. Later took the meat off of the bones. I only used some of the meat for the turkey and noodles. I added a bit more water when ready to add my noodles. I brought the broth to a boil on the stove, added the home made noodles, stirred them, put the lid on and took them off the burner and let them set covered for about 15 minutes, then stirred and added some of the meat. They were really good. I hope this helps you.
