Well guess what...I know I have too many daylilies in my garden when I can't even remember what I planted this past Spring! Stargate Portal just opened this morning, so I don't have to add it to my wish list after all! Yours looks much nicer though, since mine was deluged with a downpoor that ruined the petals. I was surprised to get a response as well! Someone with Housing suggested that I write my congressman. I almost didn't, thinking that my particular situation wouldn't matter to Mr. Stark, however, he certainly took action and went to the right channels for me, and very quickly. Most of our other tenants left here have done the same to protect themselves as well. Sometimes the law really does protect us renters. If anything, this situation has taught me to know the laws, know my rights, read through an entire lease and understand what is on it before signing it, and know who you are renting from! I shamefully admit that in my years of renting I have bypassed reading some of the fine print on my leases!

I so miss your frequent posts. I'm going to be moving to a special, :-) private, worm inn posting area since I have given up on flow thoughts that do not flow through and have moved on to worm inns that harvest a round hole straight down the middle ignoring the sides. Frustration seems to be the main attraction in Vermicomposting. It is for me. Maybe I will still post here. I don't know. I am a bit frustrated by posters who want the world delivered to their doorstep and have never read a sentence about worms ever. I feel bad about ignoring a few posts but others have stepped in. I hope they too do not burn out. At least here is not facebook where recently on the worm part a lady posted of having these worms in her garden that she wanted to get rid of due to fear they might eat her plants because they are organic matter. Well facebook does have that humor aspect. I feel liked I tried to run North on the under ground railroad but was recaptured. I think eventually facebook is going to eat places like this up. In some ways here is better than facebook. So that is sad. In many ways facebook is very, very bad and nobody should ever go there. On the other hand I have some good worm news in a different post. Edit: The area to start posts seems to be blank. Mostly I wanted to say I have a 5 gallon bucket full of harvest and cocoons and new, baby worms. I have not seen posted timelines of how to keep worms so as to not harvest away cocoons in vermicastings so as to retain them for worm additions to the system. I have not seen posted timelines of how to keep worms so as to not harvest for sale the most productive cocoon producers. Would it be better to sell worms not yet at prime or past their breeding prime for fishing? Are we selling our best breeders at their prime? Timelines for harvest seem to be needed. Glad to see you still posting Chuckie. I always enjoy reading and learning. I think your methods of brewing castings are being scientifically verified as time goes on.

There weren't any pics of the inside of the barndominium. I am assuming it is pretty basic. I don't really care very much about it. I am sure whatever it is, I have lived in worse. We lived in an old R V for a couple of years. Yes, this is the same area. I love it here. We don't normally flood. When Raven flooded before, we didn't have any problem. Houston has flooded many times and we don't flood. We have to live close to the coast. My husband is a commercial shrimper. Anyway, even so....the "new" place didn't flood because the bayou is even wider there than it is here. Also the barndominium is built on a pad of soil that was built up before it was built, so that raises it some too. You can tell by driving by the place that no flood water reached it. There is no debris tangled up in the fences. I drove down the driveway almost to the bayou and no evidence of anything that floated up from the flood. The flood was a freak storm. I call it a flood, rather than the hurricane, because the hurricane didn't do any damage to us. It was after it passed, it made a loop and came back around and stalled out right over us. That is what caused all the problems...at least for us. They call it an 800 year flood. I don't expect to see another one in my life time....we have never had any water on the place before and we have been here for 20 years. If I thought it would flood again like that, yeah, I probably would move, but even so, that place down the road didn't flood. I really love this little town. People were so kind to us and so helpful. It is a tiny little community but the people are absolutely the best.
