I didn't think it was a spectacular opening. Same stuff, more or less. I think they will run out of plot lines eventually. But I did have a question whether that was the old Carlos or a new actor in his place. If the old, he lost a lot of weight and sure looks different.

Carlos looked like the same actor, but definitely different. I wasn't sure what the difference was. Completely clean-shaven, for one thing.

I found it hard to believe that was the same hot Carlos, but see in searching a bit, that it was indeed the same one. I think I rather liked how he looked in previous seasons over how he now looks with no facial hair and having dropped weight.

I thought his voice was even different last night too.

I could understand most of the scenarios last night but the one with Juanita left me scratching my head and speculating.

I think Carlos looked great. Never used to like his character but think he's one of my favorites now. Susan gets on my last nerve.

I was wondering about Carlos, also...Aren't there 2 girls in that family, not just Juanita?
It might be a weird show, but I love it!

Hard to believe that was Carlos, and yes, Sue, even his voice was different; didn't have that slight accent that I like. Carlos did say why he looked so different, but I didn't catch what he said. I think the make-up people should have given him his facial hair back!!

Somewhere along in the script I thought I picked up on the fact that Gaby also knew about the mix-up but didn't want to tell Carlos. ??

No Sue, Gabby knows who hit and killed Carlos' mother a couple seasons ago.

I wondered what happened to the younger sister, Celia, too.

Yes, Gabby had two daughters that appeared on the show during that season where they did a five year jump forward during the hiatus. She had Juanita and Celia. Juanita was the baby they had so much trouble conceiving, and is now apparently not their real daughter (she is the chubby one and Gabby will probably be thrilled she is not her real daughter, I suspect her real daughter will be thin and pampered like Gabby). The littlest girl they had was named Celia and she was a miracle conception that occurred when Carlos never got his vasectomy and let Gabby think he had done it so she stopped taking her birth control and conceived. Celia was also the one who was saved from the airplane crash by Lynette, causing her to loose the other baby she was carrying.

According to the Internet, the actress playing Celia has not been confirmed for season 7, the premier makes it seem as if the little actress may be off the show as far as on screen time, but there is a moment where Gabby and Bree are talking and Gabby refers to her girls - plural. I wonder if they'll replace her with a different actress at some point, renew the original girl or just keep her off screen and referred to in dialogue.

I have never seen the show and don't care to.

I use to watch it all the time but stopped because it conflicted with another show the kids watched and was usually busy during that time and couldn't go to my room and watch.I have watched it a couple of times but got confused when they did the flash forward thing.I hate that! I watched the episode Sunday and hopefully I can start watching it on a regular basis again.DH was even interested in the episode Sunday,which is unusual for him.
