As your resident DJ I was wondering what were some of your musical tastes.

What band would you love to see in concert, even though you know it will never happen?

What band would you love to see even though they broke up and will never get back together?

What female artist would you love to see in concert?

What male artist would you love to see in concert?

What musician would you have like to have seen perform but they are now deceased?

What musican would you like to meet in person?

Put together a band...who would be your drummer, guitar player, piano player..etc.

Barry Manilow

John Stewart

Lindsey Buckingham

My band would consist of Mick Fleetwood on drums; Alvin Lee on guitar, Billy Cox on Bass, Gil Bridges on Saxaphone and Jerry Lee Lewis on piano.

What female artist would you love to see in concert? CARLY SIMON

What male artist would you love to see in concert? BARRY MANILOW

What musician would you have like to have seen perform but they are now deceased? He's not deceased, but would love to see Tony Bennett in concert.

What musician would you like to meet in person? Barry Manilow, to tell him how he got me through the post-separation/divorce time.

So, for all of you, four stars. Working together as a team always brings success. Yes, the term was invented by George Harrison and Jeff Lynne. During a recording session, some of their equipment was faulty and resulted in errors which Lynne pointed out. George responded, "We'll bury 'em in the mix." From then on, errors were referred to as Wilburys and the term was appropriated for the group. You definitely got the errors and TM came up with the "We'll bury..." The problems are these: 1) All "free" download (sharing) sites are illegal. And they're still searching and prosecuting nationwide. I've read recently that the average settlement is something like $3,600.00. 2) Since the days of Napster when everyone had to be at one place, the selection available has been incredibly compromised. Maybe you'll find what you want of maybe you won't. 3) Many of these site are LOADED with crap you don't want to mess with. Can't remember the name of the one based out of Vanu Atu, but they became, essentially, bug-ware central. 4) For whatever reason, you will be finding MANY mis-identified entries and all manner of deception among the offered downloads and their purported quality. What band would you love to see in concert, even though you know it will never happen? I did see their final tour, but wish I'd had another chance to see Pink Floyd (best show ever!) Fleetwood Mac would be the other.

What band would you love to see even though they broke up and will never get back together? Genesis

What female artist would you love to see in concert? Reba

What male artist would you love to see in concert? Billy Joel & Elton John (can't decide between the two)

What musician would you have like to have seen perform but they are now deceased? Rosemary Clooney or Stevie Ray Vaughn

What musician would you like to meet in person? Garth Brooks (he's been part of many extremely significant moments of my life)

Oh good, it's still here. I posted this evening then left. It's been bugging me all night. I wrote Geddy Lee and I meant Neil Pert. Silly me, I feel better now.

Danihoney ~ I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn in concert the year before he died. He played our local Mid-Hudson Civic Center (1989), along with his band, Double Trouble, and his brother's band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Dang! That man sure could make a guitar sing.
