credit card complaint

I have had my ATT credit card for at least 20 years, and

always paid with 24 hours of receipt of bill. Now

citi bank is involved and this last month not only did I

not get a written statment, I also didn't get email notice.

I normally just wait to get email notice and then I pay.

In any case, the time went by, I didn't notice and the

day the late fees and interest kicked in, I got a PHONE

CALL (first ever) to notify me of delinqency.

When I disputed additonal charges, I was speaking to someone who couldn't possibly consider making any changes.

Went ahead and paid the total bill, less the late charges.

Apparently the payment was not accepted! As of this

date it still shows the full amount owing.

I guess I will have to continue dealing with faceless

people and conputer replys for awhile. This must be part

of the new rules for credit card companies.

Would like to get away from this particular bank, but

how do you find out which banks back which cards?
