Hiya Bo, glad you can attend! I hope we get a good turnout next week. The Spring one is always more popular but still this is a great time of year to "thin out" even though plants may not look as appealing as they would in the Spring! LOL I will see what I can find in my garden...I know I have plenty of Fall Crocus (purple) and I'm sure I have some bulbs in there and other things I haven't had time to go through yet. There's three or four of us for sure coming plus Wildflower if she's still coming, and Nadia?...will have to see beyond that! ;~)

What a great day for the Plant Swap. Thanks to everyone that attended today who helped make it a wonderful day. Great plants, folks, food, and friends. So fun to meet new folks who attended this year for the first time. A special thanks to folks that were so helpful. It's been terrific to be part of this event the past eleven years. I appreiciate all of you. I love to look at my gardens and see plant swap plants growing away, some for many years. I know I have some some terrific friends via this event, too. A special thanks to Mimi - my wonderful back door gardening friend. I know the Plant Swap will carry on! Thanks to Mouse and Kim (and friends) for stepping forward to host the swap in the future. Hello all! I was just getting around to logging on to thank you all for the wonderful plants that you offered me in the spring. I took some pictures, but am having trouble uploading... The monarda was lovely, the grasses came in well, the rudbeckia and echinacea have been blooming for quite some time now -- as has the balloon flower! The lilies are all done blooming now, but boy were they lovely! The sedum just started blooming about a week or so ago. The hosta has done well in spite of the slug population this year. Oh and the philadelphus was so lovely -- the scent and the sweet flowers. The styrax japionica has been given a special place in our family as my daughter's tree. I thank you all for these wonderful growing gifts, and will definately join you again in September (hopefully this time the lemon tart won't melt in my car). Incidentally, the vege garden, which is usually the prolific part of my yard, severely underproduced this year. Perhaps it was too much rain. I'll be lucky if I get a handful of tomatoes from the 15 plants that I planted. :( I would be interested in a lilac. Also have room for some Anemone and blanket flower, if ya'll have enough. Cannot wait!

I'm already having fun making a list of gifts to buy. I won't buy anything until I have a match and know what they might like.
