I vote we keep this going month by month and we have an option to play that month or sit it out.Also it would be nice for us all to update our members page so we can go and see what our partner for the month is interested in and the color themes they are using.That is not saying we have to go by a list boballi,but to give us ideas.I have several gardens and several in progress and several planned,so I can use anything.The etc. part is a good idea also.I have a bird house village and maybe someone is interested in swapping birdhouses or garden art.I am not sure I would want weeds.I pull about a wagon full almost everyday now..lol This has been alot of fun for me and am glad of having the opportunity to meet you all.Thank you Diene for bringing us all together.As our group grows,it will become more and more interesting.Don't you all think we should have a name for our group? Or keep it as making new friends? Ilene, I would not replace the floor unless it is unsightly or in need of a lot of repairs. If it is still in good shape, I would buy new area rugs. They will freshen up the space. Also, since there is a door, you can always close the door as needed. Your laundry/mud room is clearly a separate room from the kitchen, so no need to try and match the kitchen cabinetry. Go with the white cabinets from the box store that meets your needs. Is the space next to the washer large enough for a small cabinet/sink and do you have need for that? The laundry rack and a folding ironing board that attaches to the wall (if that is not what you have-I was not sure) should easily fit into the space. Don't spend more money than you need to. The cabinets alone will give you additional storage space and spruce up the room along with the new rugs.

I'm watching the mariner game right now, and watching DH mowing the back lawn! lol I'm going ot plant a few veggies in our new garden. We went out for brunch this morning with DS and his girlfriend. It was very nice! thank you all so much! It's always good to add another birthday!

Two coats of interior paint done and so far so good, we need to wait at least a week before the color settles in, this one surprisingly takes a week to mature and lighten up. Boy, am I glad I did not attempt to do 90+ gallons of wall paint myself. Interior ceilings will commence on Monday followed by exterior paint, trim, gutter boards, etc., these guys are going to be around a while even though the weather is cooperating this week. Our entry door was delivered yesterday and unloaded without a scratch, phew! Took a quick couple of pics while they were bringing the frame and each door into center garage. It was scary when they had to tilt the huge frame to get it through the 8' tall garage door, the frame is taller. Pic of frame and one of two doors. They covered it all with heavy plastic sheeting before they left. I think we'll install it the following week when I'm working from home. They also left cans of door paint and threshold stain. Really pleased with the results and looking forward to seeing it on the home.
