IngredientsVegetable oil, for frying 2 lb clam strips 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup cornstarch ½ cup cornmeal ⅓ cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp curry powder ½ tsp celery salt ½ tsp cayenne ½ tsp salt Instructions Start by heating the canola oil in a pot over moderate heat until it reaches 380 degrees F. While the oil is being heated, rinse and drain the clam strips in a colander. Stir the clam strips together with buttermilk in a large bowl. Drain the clam strips well in a colander. Let them set over a bowl for at least 5 minutes. In another bowl stir together the cornstarch, cornmeal, flour, curry powder, celery salt, cayenne, and salt. Dredge a handful of drained clams in the flour mixture then shake in a large sieve to remove excess flour. Transfer the clams one by one in a baking sheet and then shake them again to remove any excess flour mixture. Fry the coated clams until they're crisp and golden for about 1 ½ minutes. Then, transfer them onto some paper towels with a slotted spoon for draining. Afterward, sprinkle them with salt to taste. Serve with some potato fries and your desired dipping sauce, and enjoy! should be close

Honestly, we haven't done much with the house in the last couple of year, besides up keep and painting when needed. Our girls are all teenagers now, I have a Senior, a junior and a freshman .. We decided since they were growing up so quick that we would spend time as a family going and doing the last couple of years. We have two boats we keep at the coast now and spend a lot of time there, deep sea fishing and exploring the outter banks. I figured the house will still be here when the kids go off to college, but wow .. They are growing up quick!! Our bedroom and bathroom were the only two rooms left to be redone. December 17th was our twenty year anniversary, so as a present to each other we decided to get them finally revamped. :) I have an album of us working on the house over the years, so in some of the pics the rooms aren't quite complete. As you all know I have an estate auction addiction, so the house is always in flux .. as I find new things and move stuff here and there. I've always kind of gone for a collected over the years look. Anglo, I know what you mean. I have a hard time wearing white when the weather is cool so I go to grey or of course black or a dark color. Here are a few other online resources you might try for what you need: Ann Taylor Loft, Athleta (very comfy too and not everything is a yoga pant), 6pm.com (you can search by brand, size, style, etc), Eddie Bauer (not my first choice but good color choices and usually some sale going on). edited to add - you are fortunate you had a nice sales person to help you in JJill. I hope some of the things you brought home will work.
