Geez, how could 2 more mouths to feed be so...

much more expensive?!!! LOL! These girls are tiny too. My fridge was cleaned out this weekend. I had bought a new package of American cheese on Thursday night because they asked for more and it is gone. The whole thing. They love that stuff and our bread, it actually gets eaten before it molds. Then there's the milk. I don't think I'll have to worry about tossing spoiled milk again for the next 9 months.

I used to buy one gallon of milk and it would go bad before it got drunk. So sometimes I'd only buy a gallon in a month. The girls came at the end of July and I have bought about 5 gallons of milk already. A smallish loaf of whole grain white wheat would get thrown out because my kids wouldn't finish it off before it molded, now I'm buying 2 loaves a week.

Then there's the juice, grape juice, they love it. I'm going to have to start buying the cheapy fake juice pretty soon because the real stuff is so expensive.

I'm now considering getting a membership to Cosco or Sam's Club just so I can buy the giant sized cheese and juices. ( : Oh, and Lays potato chips...they are also addicted to Lindt white chocolate with coco flakes truffels. I made the mistake of buying them a bag as part of their welcome gifts because Lauren and I love those things. Now they are buying them everytime we go to the store-they are paying for them, so not a big deal. I think they're going to put on a few pounds while they're here.

Any hints to keep costs down? I'm making tacos tonight. Have to run out and get some lettuce....and more cheese.
