I keep my hair quite short.It's bone-straight and quite thick on the top. But it grows so fast, it drives me crazy.

When it's freshly cut, it stands up on the top. As it grows a bit, I curl it just to give it some lift and body. Otherwise, it's flat to my head.

Make-up, not so much.

I used to but I figure the glamor days are over. LOL I'm growing my hair out from a short, having to get it cut every 5-6 weeks, to a longer do, where I can put it up in a P. tail or bun. My hair is so straight, and didn't hold a curl more than a few hours, so last week I went and had a perm, so a set will hold for several days. As for makeup, I just use base, eyebrow pencil, a little mascara and shadow. But only if I'm going out.

I like to wear makeup out of the house, and if I'm going out I also do my hair. But if I'm home alone, forget it! I don't need to see myself in makeup, and I like to give my hair a healthy rest from the blow dryer and the curling iron.

My hairs long enough to pull back. I dye it every 6 weeks, cut it myself. But nothing else......and makeup....I use foundation as an undereye concealer. I like cute clothes and hope people are looking at those and not how long my eye lashes are. :0) lol

I was never a makeup person, even when working, I only used lipstick.
Now - only think of putting on lipstick when I leave the house.
Dressy occasions, I do use foundation and a touch of eyeshadow.
My hair is just above chin length, and I get it cut every 7 weeks. Style it when I wash it, and only needs a 1-2 minute touch up on the ends with the curling iron in the morning.

I go through the boring routine of make up and styling, but not in a big way. I use a curling brush, the thing with the hard bristles. curling irons burn my scalp even without touching it. The make up I use is Cover Girl's Simply Powder, lipstick and a little rouge, that's all.

This is interesting I was going to start a thread about this same subject. I saw my Mom and now my Sis quit grooming themselves when they reached a certain age and now I have to make myself do the simple routine of showering, make up and hair.

My hair is long. Sometimes I flat iron it but usually not.

I do wear light make-up when I leave the house. It's habit. I also don't have a bunch of lines yet (hardly any) and I'm pushing s 60. I think wearing make-up outside acted as damage protection since I was never much of a sun screen user and used to bake when i was younger. Statistically I should be a wrinkled old prune by now. LOL

I don't wear make-up on a daily basis but do wear it when we go to a function. Thank goodness I have great skin and very few, if any, visible wrinkles. I guess I was blessed with good genes ;o) I don't smoke and I don't drink to excess, I stay out of the sun (unless covered) and drink alot of water. I'm convinced this has helped keep my skin youthful.
I have shorter hair and I do blow dry it when I wash it and use the flat iron to tame the cowlicks on the days that I don't wash it. I haven't colored my hair in almost 10 years and am mostly gray/silver, but I figure I've earned it LOL.

Well, I do nearly every day; I have a red nose and dark rings around my eyes, so concealer works there....for a while, at least. With a little lipstick,I can go to the post office, and don't want to feel nekkid!

I don't wear make-up unless I'm going to town. I wear very little when I do wear it. I don't style my hair, I just wash it and blow dry it. If I let it dry on its own, it gets wavy and I like it straight and full of life. Blow drying helps that. I have long hair and mostly wear it in a ponytail or I pull it up around the house and use a huge hairclip.

Heck I'm still in my jammies drinking coffee. I'll shower around noon put on makeup and go to town. Otherwise I'd smell like cleaning solution and doggies.

No makeup. No styling. Wrap my hair in a clip and call it good.

I have a wash and go hairstyle. It gets cut every three weeks and permed every six weeks. Long ago I used to wear all that makeup but no more. I don't even wear lipstick.

I used to be a full make-up, hair done, etc kinda gal. Now that I am not working, I only put on my liquid base and eye make up when I go out to dinner or church, etc. I use a dry powder base on other days when I go out to the store or to the gym.

My problem is that I have become allergic to eyemake up. Even the non allergic kind bothers me with stinging eyes. Now it has become also swelling of the eyelid to the point where it took a couple days in the hospital and a week for the swelling to go down. Couldn't isolate it to the eyemakeup but its a common factor for the times it has happened. Full face makeup looks kinda funny without the eye makeup so whats the use?

My hair has thinned out to the point where it falls where it falls and it has been so hot here that I'm sweaty after just a few minutes out in the heat or after the gym, so why bother doing it up.

We are going to a anniversary party next weekend and I need to decide what makeup I will use. Just bought Almay products to try for eye makeup. Hoping it won't bother me.

I called Revlon to see if their shadows had any shellfish in them as I just found out I am allergic to them. The lady said unless I knew the chemical name for the ingredient, she couldn't help me. Duh, how am I supposed to know that. There were about 30 that she named off for the one product - I'm not a chemist. I would have thought they would be the ones to figure that out. She just told me not to use it anymore - did I need her to tell me that!

Make up wise I wear a light foundation and when I leave the house I will add lipstick. My hair is medium length, thick and wavy, so I flat iron it everyday, even if I don't leave the house. It takes a bit longer getting ready, but it's easier to deal with during the day. Over the past several years I have scaled back the make up. In addition to foundation, I used also apply mascara, blush and eye liner everyday. I only do that now if I am going to a social event.

I do style my hair and put on makeup every day even if I am not going anywhere. It takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to do it all. Otherwise I'd be walking around with bed head and a splotchy face.

About three years ago I got my long hair cut in a style that requires very little work, but somehow I don't feel right if I don't use the blowdryer and hairspray to make it "just right". As for makeup, every day I wear eyeliner and mascara, but that's it.

Makeup every single day, even if I am home alone.

I'm a wash and wear hair style person.

My hair is long and straight and its usually so HOT here I just clip it up to get it off my neck. I curl it on special occasions though, LOL
Years ago I had my top eyeliner tattooed and I love it because its always there so I almost look like I made an attempt to look good !

No makeup if I am home. If I want to run to the store, I put on lipstick and maybe some blush. If I am going to volunteer or go out then I use foundation, blush, eyeliner and mascara.

I use to put on makeup and style my hair every morning.I was a Mary Kay Consultant for many years and tried to at least look like I used the products.LOL Since we have been residing with the kids here in Albuquerque I don't do the makeup every day.I do try to make my hair look presentable.I have really short hair so it doesn't take much,just a little styling gel.It is so hot here and we don't have refrigerated air so makeup would be senseless and chasing after 2-2 year olds makes you sweat!LOL I never leave the house without makeup,although nobody would probably notice.I don't really know anyone here so it wouldn't make any difference how I look I guess.I just like to look nice when I'm out in public.I see so many people out in public that look like they didn't look in the mirror before they left home and I don't want to be one of those people!LOL

Hair is professionally cut and highlighted/colored every 6 weeks. Makeup every day...foundation, blush, shadow, liner, mascara, lipstick.

I work in a very large corporation, so I'm just used to suits and makeup every day.

...but that does not mean I'll do it if I ever get to retire....LOL!

I only wear a little makeup-Mary Kay lip gel and a touch of mascara. and my hair-I have highlights and a body wave. I blow it dry after washing and just brush it in between. Hope I don't scare anmybody when I go out. Kids may think I look like a witch. Not as young as I used to be.

Heck, no! What ya see is what ya get - I haven't worn makeup nor 'fixed' my hair for 20 years! My hair is long, so I put it in a ponytail and wrap it up off my neck. I DO wear blush and eye shadow to church on Sunday - the only day I curl my hair.

My favorite hair style is a perm, I let it air dry then run a pick through it one time. My hair is way to thin for a perm now and it breaks off at every rod mark. In the morning's I just use the curling brush to soften the look, not much styling. I like things simple/easy and fast.

My hair is super extremely thin and fine, so I have to use mousse and/or root lifter products, curling iron and hair spray every day. If I didn't I'm afraid I might scare someone. Occasionally I get up and just put on a ball cap instead of going through the whole routine. And usually I do wear eye makeup and a little concealer on my nose, because it is red most of the time.

No make up here if I am just here at home. I don't always style my hair everyday either. I don't always see anyone each day, so I don't bother with it. I never was a big one to be fixy.

No makeup for me unless I'm going out in public. After years of making my face up and doing my hair at 6 a.m., when I retired I happily stopped. Now makeup makes my face feel "heavy".

When we used to spend weekends at our cabin, Harry always told me I didn't need makeup, now he compliments me when I have some on :-) (Of course, 16 years ago I probably didn't need it as much!)

I use make up and fix my hair everyday..the other side of the coin is scary.

LOL I know what you mean. When I don't do my face or hair we have someone come to the house! I try to be ready for that, but it sure gets old.
