Talk about a way to take all credibility out of your STORY!! Why do they bother?

I don't care what he asked-Cindy was a proven liar on the witness stand. They are not getting 'paid' but their 'foundation' is. I never once saw their last foundation do anything at all except hang a few posters.

" I don't understand what the big mystery is here. There is no way Brantley or anyone else would know the exact moment of contraction. How many times have you had a cold? Do you know who gave it to you? Maybe, maybe not. Do you know the exact moment the germ bugs entered your body? Of course not!" The difference is these healthcare workers were knowingly treating people with EBOLA..quite a bit more serious than the common cold. AND these are skilled workers who have all said they were very, very conscious of the risk the entire time and took all necessary precautions. They were not just casually going about their jobs and had an " oops " moment. Forboystoo, I agree - asking questions does not equate " hysteria " or " conspiracy" in my mind. If the projected numbers of cases in Africa does indeed skyrocket over the next months, we can certainly expect more cases to travel here. I think one projection was a million cases in africa by next year. ETA- this was was reported on the CDC site last month: By September 30, 2014, CDC estimates that there will be approximately 8,000 cases, or as high as 21,000 cases if corrections for underreporting are made. Without additional interventions or changes in community behavior, CDC estimates that by January 20, 2015, there will be a total of approximately 550,000 Ebola cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone or 1.4 million if corrections for underreporting are made. Cases in Liberia are currently doubling every 15-20 days, and those in Sierra Leone and Guinea are doubling every 30-40 days. Halting the epidemic requires that approximately 70% of Ebola cases be cared for in Ebola Treatment Units or, if they are at capacity, at home or in a community setting in which there is a reduced risk of disease transmission and safe burials are provided. msjee- your "art" reminds me of something similar from my teen years. I had not planned on remarking on it, but I read a post just above and it made me think I should say something. I was angry with my parents and they took a picture of me as I glared at the camera. They put it in the family album and were/are (?) quite amused by it. I always thought it was cruel and mean spirited that they took that picture and it was always a reminder of how upset I was with them. Your son may find it funny, but he also may not and you may not realize that. The reason I put the "?" next to the word "are" is I have not spoken to them for over 5 years. The picture was obviously not the slightest the cause of the rift, but even thinking about it annoys me, 30 years later. They often found humor at my expense and if I expressed that it hurt my feelings, then I was being too sensitive. To this day, I have anxiety about singing publicly because they and my older brother would razz me about it. I remember being quite proud that I was a runner up for the lead in a school production in 6th grade, but when I said I did not get the part, they all said it was because it sounded like someone was getting hurt when I practiced in the bsmt. Very funny. I used to love to sing and wanted to become a singer, but after the 3 of them used it as a punchline, it was hard for me to ever sing in front of anyone again. What may seem funny to the adults may cut deep to a kid, even one who is older. Your son may act like it is funny but it could also get under his skin. Is it really something you want as a family story to pass down? Is that how you want to remember your son? If something were to happen to him, I think you may look at the wall differently and wonder if you should have continued the gag quite so long. Hopefully, your family is nothing like mine was and this is something humorous to all, but if there is a chance it bothers him, even a little, do you really want to do that?

just saw an interesting interview on one of dr. drew's shows - with the woman who was inside the anthony home while she was acting as casey's body guard. she talked about this horrific fight between casey and cindy the night before casey left home -have heard this fight referenced before, supposedly knock-out-drag-out, but it was never talked about in court. she said her theory was that casey was so furious and sick of cindy's rules for casey and jealous of cindy's love for caylee, that that's what forced her over the edge. she thinks casey took care of things the next day while george and cindy were at work/not home .... and then started her 31 days of celebrating. this theory would explain all casey's hateful expressions toward cindy during the trial -remember when cindy mouthed "i love you" to casey as she exited the stand and casey rolled her eyes and snarled -and now the visit denial. and of course, i'm sure casey blames cindy for "pushing" her to do what she did -and further explains cindy's guilt which forced her to lie on the stand about the chloroform searches ............

I watched the CBS shows and I've watched the Dateline and some of the Dr. Phil. I don't know what to think, other than believing an intruder is the least-likely scenario. Not impossible, but very unlikely, due to the way the note was written, the way the body was discovered, and Burke's interviews shortly after the crime and 18 months after the crime. Burke said he heard his mother come into his room and then go out of it looking for JonBenet, and then he heard her in hysterics (as he said in the interview afterward "going psycho") and just stayed in bed pretending to sleep or trying to sleep, rather than go try to find out what had happened. Picture your own kids. You burst into your 9 year old's room and then just as suddenly depart. You are frantically crying and screaming, alerting your spouse and then placing a 911 call. Your 9 year old doesn't freeze with fear. They don't hide. They also don't come ask you what's wrong. They don't go find dad and ask what's wrong. They just stay in bed and wait. The only reason I can think of for him to do this is either that he was used to the sound of adults "going psycho" in other parts of the house and did not find that unusual/alarming--or he knew what the problem was and was waiting to find out how his parents were going to handle it.

I found it, it will be on September 12th.

I didn't really follow the trial, though I did hear about it some on the news. I think she probably did kill her daughter and I am interested in what her parents have to say.

juellie, don't worry...you'll probably be able to see Kate and 8 on Dr. Phil, too.

I was appalled by the way Phil treated Ted Williams on his show. Remember him...the homeless man with the incredible voice?

I rarely watch his show anymore; I am so suspicious of his motives that it clouds my judgement even on those programs where he's not doing any harm.

It is amazing how many peple don't like him. He makes me sick to my stomach and he sees everybody as a career opportunity. He's a user.Yuck
When he wrote a diet book I thought who the heck to you think you are. Why does Oprah keep this blowhard (is that a word?)

There is a petition on change.org about this. Just signed it. Look what Jennifer Kesse's (missing FL woman) Dad had to say-

Many of you were outraged that George and Cindy Anthony will be guests on the season opener of "Dr. Phil."
One comment, however, stood out: It came from Drew Kesse, the father of missing Jennifer Kesse. Jennifer was 24 when she disappeared in 2006. Orlando police believe she was abducted from her condominium near the Mall at Millenia.

Drew Kesse complained that the Anthonys are "a disgrace and an insult to every missing person and their families."

Kesse wrote: "Lets make this very clear, Caylee was murdered. She was never missing and should not ever be considered missing at any time during the entire ordeal. Caylee has never been the center of anything since she was killed. Everyone else in her family has, but the true victim -not."

Casey Anthony, the daughter of George and Cindy Anthony, was acquitted last month of first-degree murder in the death of 2-year-old Caylee.

Kesse was incensed that George and Cindy Anthony asked the "Dr. Phil" show for a contribution to their new foundation named for Caylee. And Kesse blasted Dr. Phil McGraw, who interviews George and Cindy in an episode to air Sept. 12 on WOFL-Channel 35.

"Let's get one thing straight right now, Dr. Phil, you are a pimp for this garbage," Kesse wrote. "The Anthonys and this new foundation are the biggest insults to every missing person in America today. Dr. Phil, after the show airs and you make a donation to their new scam, have on real families of the missing."

Kesse's message to the Anthonys: "Go away, far away, please."

Dr. Phil didn't (by himself) make the Anthonys celebrities - the whole world did - he's having them on his show because he makes big ratings and money by doing so. Americans are capitalists and he's an American (or an alien!), so we can't be too mad at him - he's just 'following the money'.

If we could wipe out such morons as Nancy Grace, Dr. Drew, Jane Valez Mitchell etal, who continue to bring this sick family to the forefront every day, the Anthonys would GO AWAY!

NO ONE EVER made little Caylee the object of this mess - it says a lot about what people will say and do in the name of ratings/fame.

Susan I believe they can profit from this 'foundation' as they did from the last one!

the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation accounting showed that the "administration" kept 80% of the dollars collected up to Dec. 2009.
Only 20% was spent on , I guess, missing children.
The "adminisration" officers were George & Lee and Cindy Anthony, Mallory & her Mother and Brenda Black.

Mark Lippman, the couples attorney, told WFTV that the Anthonys plan to be the nonprofits officers and draw salaries because they are unable to work. Nguyen said the new nonprofit would be separate from the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation, which will remain active.
