Research shows that Michael''s is selling it. You can do a zip code search to find the store nearest to you. I MUST have some of this! I can see making crafting stamps from this product and small blocks of wood.

I have some; I used it to try to put a rubbery coating on some coated-white-wire racks, and I wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped to be. It didn't dry rubbery; it dried hard. And it didn't stay on; it popped right off after a little while.

I have successfully used it to protect a charger wire, where the insulation was starting to crack near the fitting.

Kayjones, if you get some and make some stamps, be sure to come back and tell us how well it worked and maybe show us some pictures of the stamps. I was thinking that there "must" be something we crafters could do with this stuff. I wonder if it can be painted once it is hard.

Yes, I understand that it CAN be painted. Here's a site where people who have painted their Sugru projects, state their results. It didn't stay on the object, as far as I can see - it flaked off very quickly.

Do let us know if you buy some and make stamps and how well it works.

I was thinking it could perhaps be made into tiny circles similar to brads and glued to cards.

I was also thinking of beads for jewelry, feet for flower pots, oh, gosh - my brain is twirling with possibilities! I am in the process of moving back to Missouri, so it will be a while before I get around to playing with it, but this winter I will be.

I've known about it for quite a while...bookmarked and have been trying to think of ways to use it. Son was recently complaining about his newest, best fitting ear buds broke or something, replacement was unsatisfactory... so, this goes into his 'stocking' (OH, Yes, small trinkets still get put into Long ago Mom made stockings) for Christmas. Bet DGS can use it on his broken toys. And my beloved sewing machine cord...where it plugs into the machine has been looking fragile for a long time.

The Container Store also sells it but I haven't tried it either.

Amazon has it. That's local. ;-)

Thanks, Jean--I just ordered some for my son and son-in-law. The guys will have fun with this, I'm sure.

nanny, wrapping a "fragile" electric cord in plastic doesn't fix it. You might have a fire or shock danger just waiting to happen.

Do yourself a favor and take it to a shop that can replace the cord.
