We were parked behind a medical building and I sat on the deck and watched people come and go.

And right before our departure, I was resting in my room, and heard a beautiful sound below and took this picture.

Attended the wedding of a very special gal in my life yesterday. Crystal has been like a daughter, friend and confidant to me over the 27 years I've known her. She grew up next door to us and our kids think of her as their older sister. She and her best friend got married yesterday. This is the sand ceremony where they combine two different colored sands into one.

I've been wanting to get out to the Indio tamale festival for years. Maybe this year. Carol, are you going this year?

Friends of ours in Indio went a couple years ago and then had a tamale party. They served pork, chicken and chocolate tamales. Yummy.

We have been several times and always have a good time.
We have friends who live in Palm Desert and usually see them some time in December.
They are both having health problems so it is iffy this year.
