The sky on my way home last night. This is from the tail end of what must have been one spectacular sunset. I'm sorry I missed most of it. These windmills are visible from my road, but they're pretty far away. Long zoom needed.

Another Sunflower....sorry to say the Sunflowers are looking pretty ragged now...but, they were so pretty for a long time.

Our landscape is only pretty to some people. Personally...I think it lacks "color".

This was just a quick shot I happened to see out of the corner of my eye. The first thing I thought of was " see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil".

I know what you mean, Vicki. When we spent time in Arizona I was fascinated by the landscape, but I missed green.

I'm a native of Minnesota and am back here now. But, I spent 16 years in New Mexico. I, too, know what you mean, Vicki. The desert has a beauty all its own. Many people don't get it. I found the desert to be as fascinating to hike through as the mountains. And there are spectacular canyons when you know where to look.

Mille, the spider is one of the Goldenrod Spiders. Most usually, at least in my flowers, they are all yellow but sometimes just like your picture.

Oh, oh, wrong identity on the above post. That spider is in fact a black and yellow Agriope. He is often found with the Goldenrod spiders in my flowers. The link I gave above is a wonderful link that will be apreciated by nature lovers and students of nature.
