linda_in_iowa mentioned in her message about her recent trip to Costa Rica that some of her group went to a Sloth Sanctuary. I don't know if it was the same one, but I went to a Sloth Sanctuary several years ago. The Entrance: A model of a prehistoric giant ground sloth One of the Sloths they are caring for Baby Sloths in the Nursery squabbling (slowly) over a leaf They also offer a guided boat ride on canals behind their facility Where our sharp-eyed guide pointed out many animals and plants including a green basilisk lizard: bright blue crabs a sloth and an egret as well as bats, a caimen, howler monkeys, a brown basilisk lizard, and various other birds, and trees and plants and because today's theme seems to be flowers, I'll end with a flower.

This morning my wife brought her young horse to the kennels so the horse could meet the hounds. The huntsman and several other members brought the hounds a mile or so down the road to a pond for a swim, and then back to the kennels. It was also the first time out for some of the younger hounds. My wife's young horse.

What a wonderful array of photos today! I think I "liked" them all--or simply got too distracted to remember to click it. :-) Had to really look for the spider, And gazania's perfectly titled "higher aspirations" made me smile. Bob's underwater shots were as if I was seeing them in person. Everyone going out on adventures. Or walking on a slant (one of my legs is longer than the other, but not by that much!). Looking back, the road does not look like it is as hilly, as it felt, coming to the top of the hill.
