... the drops in my eyedrop bottles?

Guaranteed to get all shook up ... four times a day!

Two more days for the ones that I started three days before the cataract surgery, two weeks and two days for the ones that I started after surgery.

Which is the day of my next surgery, so I'll be using them on that eye for four weeks after that.

Ed, what are you doing up this time of night? I thought I was the only one who can't sleep more than an hour or two at a time!

fs... impressive list I must say!! how large are the elephant ears you are offering? Very interested if they are softball sized roots or bigger? I want large ears right away...rather than waiting for smaller plants to mature a few seasons. How will they fair in zone7? Cary, NC. Maybe suggest others from your list that would do well here too. What a great 'jungle' you have going there, pitimpinai! It has grown a lot since the last time I saw photos. Some of my hostas are in too much sun too. I need to move them. I don't understand how your Annabelle Hydrangea is upright, mine has been on the ground since mid June. All that rain and not enough sun. That Hosta in front of it is huge! I have a lot growing in my front, but you have me beat by a mile. [g] I think our front yards might be the same size. I still have some grass. :-) Your clematis look wonderful and I love that 'Betty Corning'. I didn't know it was fragrant. About your roses....I almost ripped out mine last year, they were so bad. I cut them down to stubs in late June, just to get rid of the awful foliage while I was waiting for someone to dig them out for me. They came back looking pretty good for the rest of the summer, so I left them alone, even though they never bloomed. I was given some advice from a friend who also gardens organically, that she uses organic fertilizer and alfalfa meal in the spring and then after the first flush of bloom. So I did that and added my own compost to the mix and the roses did very well this year and I have an abundant rebloom going on right now, with very healthy foliage. I couldn't find alfalfa meal, so I got pellets. .... I think the trellis that you found at a plant swap are so pretty! Very delicate looking. Iris ensata, 'King Pete' are pretty and your feverfew are so cute. Do they get away from you at all? Well, what fun to take a tour! Your garden is as magical as I remember. You must be getting a lot of pleasure from it this year. :-)

Well, DH woke me up, snorting and stuff, at about 2am. After that I gave up trying to sleep. So I played on my computer till he got up at 4:30. But now he's off to work so I'll go back to bed and try again.

Glad your eyes are doing well. Mom just had surgery done on one of her eyes too. Different than yours, tho. She had a wonky eye. Everything she saw through it was all skewed and wowed. It is much improved now, and she has to do the drops 4 times a day too.

Good luck on your next surgery OJ. I wish you well! I will pass on the eyedrops though. I am not very good at putting them in.

Ivamae, yes, Mom is still living on her own, tho I don't know for how much longer. She's finding it harder and harder to get around. But for the moment she's okay, and my DB lives nearby, and his health has improved considerably, so he can be there for her. I go every week to do her laundry, change her bedding and run her errands with her. I did have CCAC helping, but Mom has found fault with most of their services and cancelled them. AAARGH! She somehow thinks I'll come down to do the housecleaning, meal preps, etc. Unfortunately, when I was doing it all, I was resenting it, which is why I got the CCAC involved.

Anyway, we'll work things out, one way or the other. But thanks for asking. That's so thoughtful of you.
