Oh, yes, all dressed up with her hair down. Commentator said she had thought she would go home today.

and her hair was no longer pulled back. She no longer has to look like the poor little misunderstood victim. I'm sure she knows a lot more about the cause of death than she is saying.....not sure what her role was though.

She won't be able to keep her mouth shut. If she knows anything, she'll eventually be talking about it.

Always was prim and proper in a high necked blouse with her hair in a bun. Today laughing and giggling in a sweater with her hair down. I wish the worse for this person.

...and why is this important?

The case is over. She was found not guilty because there was no evidence. Now everyone is obsessing over the fact that she wore her hair down. Good grief!!

It's like 1692 all over again.

well EXCUSE us for having an opinion. To me it looked like she thought she was going home and was ready to get her party on. so much of this seems so wrong to me, but the one thing I thought was incredibly tasteless was the picture of Her and her lawyers toasting each other with champagne. It would have been more fitting if they did this over the baby's grave.

It's like 1692 all over again

Amen to that. Gawd forbid any of these armchair quarterbacks of the legal system ever find themselves or someone close to them in a courtroom sitting at the defendant's table. Especially if they are "lucky" enough to draw a jury of their peers.....just like them.

Ah heck let's not do any more trials. All those silly constitutional protections are such a bother ya know. Let's just let "the people" vote like on American idol. Oprah can give a speech. Nancy whatever her name is can give a speech, I'm sure Dr. Oz should weigh in and the people can decide to hang them high, exile 'em...whatever.

Enough already. I don't want to hear about her any more.

No one is obsessing about her hair being down. It was just an interesting observation, that is all. Since she has elevated herself to celebrity status, she and we all will have to get used to the fact that people will make comments. There was simply not enough evidence to prove the case. The jury did the right thing.

Of course you can have an opinion. Interestingly enough, the same document that gives you the right to free speech also gives our judicial procedures. Casey was innocent until proven guilty and they couldn't prove her guilty so she's innocent in the eyes of the law. That's how it works. That's our system. And, like wildchild said, if anyone needed defense they would sure be thankful we have the system we do. Many countries will just shrug and execute without any sort of due process or caring if you did it or not. I, myself, am incredibly grateful that I live in a country where my innocence isn't determined by my gender, religion or how much I can bribe the judge.

If people judged on what they "think" happened then we'd have quite a mess. No verdicts would ever be reached because people would vote based on their opinions over the facts. Did she do it? I don't know. I wasn't there. And if any of you were there, it's probably time to say something!

No where in my post did I say a word about how the jury ruled. With what they had to work with, they had no choice but to come to the decision. I don't really care if you like it or not, but I still say there is so much wrong with this case. I don't have the answers, but a baby is dead under questionable circumstances, if some of us till think Casey was responsible, well, that is our right. Obviously what we think doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but it is still our right to think it and express it.

Dotmom I agree with your posts. I, being from central Fl, where this case happened, I closely watched it. At yesterdays sentencing, did you notice how Judge Belvin Perry carefully, slowly and deliberately said "Caylee Marie Anthony" as many times as he could while looking straight at Casey? THAT tells me alot. It's just a shame that the prosecution didn't have concrete evidence.

Besides the difference in her clothing and hair style, another noticeable change was the height at which she was sitting. It was reported that her chair during the trial was at a lower height in order to give the impression of a slighter, smaller and more vunerable defendant. Yesterday her chair was at full height.

Just an observation of what lawyers will do in order to make their clients look less threatening to a jury.

This message board belongs to all of us to express our opinions as we see fit, as long as we stay within the rules of the board. If you are sick of hearing about something, or don't think it's important TO YOU, don't read!! But don't ask us to validate why we post something just because you don't like it.

Monablair, that is the first thing I noticed during sentencing was the height of her chair being the same as the defense team. During the trial I noticed each morning the first thing she would do was to make sure her chair was lower than the rest.

Thank you Sleeperblues!

Casey didn't elevate herself to stardom and fame. The media did.

There is a murder in this country every 60 seconds, but the vast VAST majority of them never receive the attention this one did. Why? A white child wasn't the victim, and the media bloodhounds (Nancy Grace, et al) aren't all over the cases like stink on sh!t.

It was a trial that was turned into a circus by the media. Plain and simple. How many other trials have YOU followed this closely that WERE NOT shoved down your throat by the media?

This is why I don't watch television.

YesI noticed the height,Somebody will get her she has no where to hide.Heading for Texas I heard.
Thankyou Sleeperblues,I didnt see anywhere names of people here who can post and ones that cant.Freedom of Speech..
