I want to come! When we sign up for next year's leave at the end of this one, I'll make sure I take vacation that week. I should be nearly to the top of the list this year and Christmas and Thanksgiving usually get picked first.

I was so hoping you wouldn't pick that weekend! We have been invited to a friend's 50th wedding anniversary that weekend in MI! I told DH when we were invited that I hoped they wouldn't end up the same weekend.

If any of you get the chance to go, GO! Sandy and Dean are the best, and sure know how to party! Meeting KT'ers is wonderful.

I can't say where I will be but if you are up for 2 peeps dropping in at the last minute or me and Eddie and Ivy.....I am there...we have nooo clue where we will be in a year but if we are home count me in Brian has never been to a get toghetr and he knows i am sooo crazy about my KT that I know if we can we will be there...what a great man Dean is Sandy....Stacy

Hopefully Mike, Bobby and I will be there. We are supposed to go to Germany and also Yellowstone next summer but don't have any definite dates on them yet.

I will be there. Ten miles is a much shorter trip than the last two Iowa gatherings when I traveled from CA. I can also offer up a tour of Ames and my home to anyone interested.

Oh hey! I would love to consider coming. I will have to mark it on a calender. I just don't know what calender to put it on, since I normally only look at the one on my computer at work. I will figure something out though.

It is about 2.5 hours east of here.

I have never been there, but I have heard people say it isn't much. I know Linda_IA was there a year or so ago, maybe she can tell you more.

Thanks Sandy, just curious. Right after the movie, our next door neighbor's went there. When the got home they presented me with a little plastic vial of dirt from the field and a postcard. :-)

If you are looking for a field...and dirt, all you have to do is look across our back yard! LOL =) You will see LOTS of fields, lots of corn and LOTS of dirt!! You can even get your picture taken in a corn field!!! lol We are on the Very edge of town (if you couldn't guess), so, you can sit in the city and look at the countryside...which is usually a cornfield and by about this time of year, I can't wait for it to get harvested so I can SEE something again!

I sure hope you can make it, it would be WONDERFUL!!!

Jodi, I was at the Field of Dreams 4 years ago. Wasn't much to see but we did play ball and it is fun to say I was there and I have a T-shirt to prove it. DS and I tried to hit all the tourist spots in Iowa in one week.
