Well, Now I have Done It!

I fell asleep and woke up with a leg cramp! Now I probably won't be able to get back to sleep forever! I may try to read and see if that helps. I hate when that happens. I hope the rest of you have a great night's sleep. Enjoy your Fourth of July. I sure plan on doing just that. I can hear fireworks already out this evening.

I have this problem sometimes - I just take two baby aspirins and I'm off to lala land in no time!

This sounds crazy but it really works.
Drink 3/4 cup dill pickle juice. I have not
had it fail yet.

Over the past 4 years, especially my first and second, my budget was SO tight. I only bought roses for less than $8, and bought many a grade #2. Honestly looking through my garden now, I can't tell the 1,s from the 1 1/2's from the 2's, and really don't remember or care which was which. I specifically remember two grade 2's I got from Orchard Supply - a Brides Dream, and a mismarked Pink Promise which ended up Pink Peace. They took a long time to mature, but they are both GORGEOUS now.

Chalk it up to a learning experience. Some people say if the ground is not frozen, you can still plant outside. And, if it was dry in the store and dry when you got it home, it was already a goner. They need to be kept watered, and they need a lot of light. You can try to save it, but they are not an indoor plant. Always check on the overall condition of the plant before you leave the store. If you want to try again, then next spring (early May), go find one that is fresh and has been watered. Bring it home. Follow the directions in the "How to save" thread, and plant it outside. You'll have a nice plant.

Thanks for the reassurance and yes, I think everything is planned around the kitchen...our house is very open so that where my starting off point has been. The reason for the turquoise/green border(which I forgot to mention) is because the cabinet people are building me a 8ft. x 8ft. hutch that is going on the dining wall that I'm planning on painting that color. tinycastles: yes the kitchen cabinets are alder with a walnutty stain. The frig is by Jenn-Air and ran 2219.00 with another 384.00 for the cabinet makers to make and install the matching panels. It's the best looking, most affordable counter depth that I found.

wow shax that would be a site to avoid, I would definitely comment on that at the wot rating site for that download site you used, that is how wot finds out when a site is bad. that is extremely excessive junk you ended up with. I am surprised they were still there with the system restore to before you did the install. You can also use REVO uninstaller if you find you still have problems with any of them. I think I would run malwarebytes a few more times after updating it just to make sure.

My poor lab is already stressing out over the fireworks.He is mostly deaf,except for really LOUD sounds like fireworks.We took him for a walk and gave him a benadryl.It will be a long weekend for him.Marilyn,I hope you can get some relief for your leg cramps,they are so painful.

If you can get quinine, it works wonders. Our doctors say they cannot prescribe it anymore. We still have some so I take one about every ten days and that takes care of it. I haven't tried, the bar of soap under the sheets, yet but my sister-in-law swears by it. Pat

I've been having neighbors with fireworks going every night for a solid week and they have some pretty good fireworks. We're not talking just bottle rockets and sparklers. It's over for the night. Oops heard a pop off in the distance, but that's nothing major. The cats have gotten so they're not interested anymore. The one who enjoys thunderstorms would run to the window when they started it earlier this week but she's gotten bored with it now.

When I have trouble sleeping and need to get some rest I do some breathing exercises, kick back in the recliner, turn on some soft relaxing music or a boring TV show and concentrate on relaxing or a boring thought. Especially effective when I put a blanket over me and get a little warmer than usual. Get warm=get sleepy. If nothing else I'm at least relaxed and get some rest so I'm not dead tired the next day.
