I don't have one but DD and DSIL do and it's fun. I love the bowling. I haven't used it much because they don't live near me but I like the Wii fit too. My 4 y/o DGD is pretty good at it too.

My brother has a Wii... it's fun! I'm not good at Mario Cart, but also got pro bowler status - only to lose it again just the other night! I need to play more!

we have the wii w/ sports, play and wii fit. LOVE & ADORE our wii, we play every evening for hours. my fav is bowling on sports, DH loves boxing. on fit i love the downhill ski, yoga, hula hoop, bubble game, soccer and some of the strength exercises. i am used to doing The Firm step aerobics and the step on fit is too slow i'm always scolded for being ahead and out of step LOL. we NEVER bother w/ watching tv now lol. we've had fit for 2 weeks now and dh has gained weight while i've lost weight and the other day i did my body test and it asked me what was DH's problem and why he was gaining weight LOL. i had 4 answers to choose from LOL! he has gained weight but lost alot on his BMI so it's muscle he's gaining, he does boxing for an hour and fit for another hour everyday. i'm going to find dance dance revolution this weekend (DDR) suppossed to be a great workout.

there are alot of games coming out for wii this winter including jillian michaels(of biggest loser fame) will have a workout game for the fit. we will be renting brunswick bowling and a couple of the brain games this weekend. i want to rent before we buy as some are not well reviewed.

you would not belive how hard it was to finally get a console then we had to go to extraodinary lengths to get a fit. fit's are reselling online for double right now. sooo happy we got it! ~ liz

It is on my Christmas list, as my only gift for DS and his extended family. Hope they don't buy one before then.

My stepson got one with some of his graduation money - he played it a couple of times and it sits there - he prefers to play computer games.

I adore my Wii. I need to move my couch though- almost took out my ceiling fan with my wild bowling swing. I am a bowler in real life and boy do I get carried away- gotta take all the "steps" to release the ball! I need a bigger room. My kids crack up- it is a lot of fun.

My arm hurt the first few days of playing, but not anymore. We were lucky to get the Wii Fit. Someone had it on hold at a store but they didn't come back for it so we bought it. I heard about a game coming out where you have to mimic various musical instruments. That sounds like fun.

We just got one a few weeks ago but have not had much time to do anything with it. We did the bowling and the golf and it was fun! I finally got the Wii fit, which is the reason I wanted the Wii to start with, didn't realize how hard that game is to find! So as soon as life quiets down I am going to try the step program out.

I would love one and I have noticed they have come down in price.

I have a cute story about the Wii my sister Lizzie bought for her Grandchildren.

Lizzie bought her 3 Grandchildren a Wii and on Joey's 2nd birthday she put the Wii at the bottom of Joey's gift bag and then put tissue and Joey's present on top. Joey was opening his presents and Lizzie asked Jake (age 5) to help Joey open his present. Jake really didn't want to but he reluctantly helped. When Jake reached into the bag he pulled out the Wii box and got really excited and wanted to know why Joey who was only 2 got a Wii for his birthday. Jake kept saying, "Joey's only 2 years old - he won't know how to play with the Wii" LOL Lizzie then told Jake the Wii was for him and Julia his little sister.

Jake said in a big voice - "Grandma, you are so CHEAP! Lizzie laughed and asked Jake if he knew what the word "cheap" meant. Jake replied that it meant Grandma Liz buys the best presents! LOLOL

Lizzie has also given each of the kids a Nintendo DES which they love. They can play games together and send each other pictures that they have drawn. I want one of those too after playing with Lizzie's the other day. LOL

I would like to try a bowling game or the one of the brain power games. I think I would like one of those dance games too just for exercise.

I'll have to go visit those kids more often. LOL

This is just too funny that your question came up today, Casey. DS brought one over last week that belongs to a friend of his. DH and I had so much fun with it, that we decided we need to get one "for the family" even though our kids have their own homes! DH is in Oregon on business this week, but is going to try to find one (I understand they sell as quickly as they land in stores) this afternoon. I couldn't believe how much fun it was to "bowl" with the wii. It seemed almost real.

I think it would be fun to see all the "characters" KTers created of themselves. Like a side-by-side pictures with the real you and your character. DS's image of himself was hilarious, because it looked so much like him.

DH can't play enough "Tiger Woods" golf. It's not the one that comes with the set, you have to buy this one.

I've got one but I haven't set it up yet, I'm hiding it from the kids. I don't want to share!

We have a Wii. It was a "gift for the family" this past Christmas. We have Super Mario Party 8 (the kids LOVE that one), a Metroid one, a Zelda one, some kind of shooting one (that's Jason's), Barbie in The Island Princess, and Go Diego Go. The kids enjoy it and it gets them up and moving. It's fun but I don't really play it that often so I'm considered 55 or something in the Wii Fitness, LOL.

I'd like to get the Wii Fit. And Super Mario Cart. Oh and also Guitar Hero. Now THAT is a fun game. :D

The kids like to play Mario 8 and Big Brain academy with their friends. Gosh, it's funny to hear them scream with delight, whether they are winning or losing, they are always laughing. I have a wii fit but it's been hiding in a box for over two months. We'll be giving it to our dd who turns 13 on August 4th. That's one I hope to get some use from. Thinking back about the different "boxes" we've had over the years, the wii has been the funnest. Probably because everyone can be active with it. I've seen on tv that many nursing homes have them too. Better get out the aspracreme!

UPDATE on our wii quest: Poor DH's search in Portland ws fruitless...kind of like we expected. The Circuit City guy told him when they do come in, they're gone in an hour. The Fred Meyer guy said they have some kind of lottery for getting to buy one. Sure would like to get lucky and find one here.

We got one for Christmas and we love it. We too are hooked on the bowling. I also got us a summer games that we love to play, it has volleyball, croquet, basketball, horseshoes, minature golf and a ton of other games. We love it.
My parents got me a cooking game that I love also. At first I thought it was going to be a little corny but it's a lot of fun.
We also have Sims CastAway. It's a lot of fun. Your player is stranded on a deserted island and you have to find food and build your shelter. I was playing one night and DH was watching and I finally gathered all the materials I needed to make a bed, build the bed too close my campfire and caught my bed on fire. Oh I was hacked. So I had to back out and find all new materials for another bed! My DH couldn't stop laughing.

My sister works in a nursing home as a nurse manager and after seeing ours she is going to buy one for the recreation department there.
