Is this it maybe? It isn't ice cream, but it sure sounds good.

RASPBERRY FOOL (jasdip@KT)
* 2 cups raspberries
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1. Place the raspberries in a medium bowl and slightly mash with the back of a large spoon. Add 1/4 cup of the sugar and stir gently.
2. Whip the cream with the remaining sugar to stiff peaks. Gently fold in the raspberries, leaving streaks throughout the cream.
3. Spoon the fool into individual dessert glasses or bowls

ice cream in a bag is fun - been there, done that with my gs

ice cream in a bag
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup milk or half & half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons rock salt **** can use regular table salt, I have
1 pint-size plastic food storage bag (e.g., Ziploc)
1 gallon-size plastic food storage bag
Ice cubes
How to make it:
Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Seal the bag.
Put milk, vanilla, and sugar into the small bag, and seal it.
Place the small bag inside the large one, and seal it again carefully.
Shake until the mixture is ice cream, which takes about 5 minutes.
Wipe off the top of the small bag, then open it carefully.
*****I PUT THE BAGS IN FREEZER FOR A BIT TO MAKE THE ICE CREAM FIRMER

Tips:
A 1/2 cup milk will make about 1 scoop of ice cream, so double the recipe if you want more. But don't increase the proportions more that that -- a large amount might be too big for kids to pick-up because the ice itself is heavy.

I never go to the cooking forum...(only meaning that isn't where I saw it...maybe I should go look)

It's real close to that one with the raspberries...but that's not what I remember reading.

It said you can use berries of your choice

Then it gave two different choices for how much of the heavy cream you can use and it seems like it gave two choices for the other ingred. But it seems like it may have been the condensed sweetened milk...I could be wrong.

Because I also remember thinking may I could use splenda.

It is on the cooking forum, and I think I saw it just last week. Sooo simple and the kids will love it.
Instant Ice Cream
1 (12ounce) frozen unsweetened strawberries (I like peaches, also.)
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream or you can use half and half
Place fruit and sugar in food processor. Process until finely chopped, scraping bowl occasionally. Slowly add cream and process until mixture is smooth and creamy. Then put in the freezer or eat as soft serve ice cream.

I remember an ice cream post at another place. I posted one with sweetened condensed milk there, I make in my KA ice cream bowl....is this it?

2 cups heavy cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients. Chill well in refrigerator. Start mixer in ice cream bowl before adding mix. Mix 30 minutes. Eat for soft serve or freeze to finish.

I must be dreaming...none of these are what I remember reading. I know it said something like 1/2 or 3/4 cup of something...and two different measurement of something else.

But mamatoad's sounds the most like it.

I also like peaches..would you use fresh peaches?
