Grandson loves golf! He plays with his dad, and has access to nearby golf course with a friend who's father works there.

And he's pretty dang good.

Yesterday, after we lunched, we picked up his golf bag and headed to the local Robert Trent Jones golfing range, so he could hit a bucket of balls. When finished he wanted to putt a few balls.

I sat on the porch and watched him. He was the youngest, with 4 or 5 men and comparing to the men, grandson had a good swing. Maybe it's just grandmother, eh? think so :o)

Picked up a card with the golf pro's name, and thought I might give him a gift certificate for golf lessons, for his 16th upcoming birthday.

Being as he's a lead pitcher with his baseball high school team, he can't take golf in high school.

Any other suggestion? He has a good pair of golf shoes, a nice starter golf set, etc.
