What is your fav Firefox add-on?

After weeks of struggling with laptop hard drive issues I finally went out and bought a new laptop last night.

I now have to install all my design and photo editing software, utilities and download thousands of files along with resetting all my prefs.

I am using Firefox (currently v22) for my browser. If you use FF, I'd love to hear what add-ons you like the best. I have already added some and know how to search the Add-on site but also like person recommendations. I'm set on FF as my browser as it has seldom given me any problems. I've tried Chrome and IE and my preference is still FF.

Adblock Plus (must have)
NoSquint (allows you to manage site-specific zoom levels

absolutely number one is xmarks so I never lose my favorites and can access them from any computer, plus moving to a new computer all I have to do is install xmarks on the new one and hit sync and voila all my favorites and stuff are all automatically on the new one, and as a benefit when going to a new pc you can also have it sync all your Firefox settings too! major time savings.

Adblock plus with easylist
man I have so many I couldn't do with out. I need to go to my pc to look at the list.

on my tablets linky mobile which turns any text link into a clickable link.

Hey that is ok with me seriously, I got a kick out of it. I guess my irebis never survived, oh well. Funny thing is that I had a purple bloom come up and I still never have figured out what that was. It was cute but it didn't last. I just assumed that little plant was irebis cause it was white and it came back the next year. LOL, so much for assuming. That is what I get for not looking it up and just tossing seeds in that bed. LOL, one year no lie I had like a ton of seed I had no idea how I was going to grow them. So I just started throwing it in this one bed, I was like if it comes up it comes up if it doesn't oh well. I got some amazing flowers out of that and then I got some stuff I wished I never did that with, ugg. One thing I got from that was a beautiful red poppy. I have no idea what kind, I just know it was beautiful. I didn't save the seeds so I have been searching for those seeds. Well I finally found one wildflower pack that looks to have that poppy. I can't wait to grow that pack. To sum it up I am pretty sure that may be where that assylum came from. LOL It gets bigger each year!!

Hard to nail a favorite "first" since the Hellebores seem to start in December and just keep going all winter! One of my favorites in Hamamelis 'Arnold Promise', not just because of it's early and unexpected bloom, but because I happened to site it right next to an Ilex verticillata, still brimming with bright red berries - so the combination is exhilarating. . . And to the responder who was speculating about crawling about on hands-and-knees to view those downward-facing hellebores: many, many years ago, a very clever little old lady showed me how she dealt with that in her garden - by placing little 6" round mirrors on the ground (even in the snow!) under the blooms. . . Those old-timers really had it all figured out - that little old lady next door had this little tyke completely hooked on gardening at the age of seven ! Carl

These were growing in a mostly shaded area, and literally covered the ground as a mat. I have an area where they'd work well. This was in a large community/ co-op garden very close to Strybing in San Francisco. They have quite a salvia collection, presumably shared with Strybing. Thank you for this note, Raven. I use the same 3 you mentioned as well as a few others (colorful tabs, multirow bookmarks). This is really good to know. I love Personas and am very disappointed that it isn't compatible with the multirow bookmarks...my screen jumps when I use them both.

Have you ever wanted to copy some text on a page, but it's a hot link that takes you to the location rather than letting you copy? I send friends links to various items on the Web, and this is the simplest way to copy and paste, or to copy something in a hot link that I want to do a Google search on.

Jodi if you install xmarks on the old pc and set up your xmarks which is very easy and fast, then install xmarks on the new computers Firefox and sync it all your favorite /bookmarks will instantly be on the new one just like you had it on the old one. If you set it up to also save your profile and settings then it will set the new one up exactly like the old one including the add ons. It is with out doubt the easiest way to get a new browser set up. And xmarks works on all the other main browsers just be sure to get the appropriate version for the browser you want to use.

Thanks RC, but I lost all my bookmarks two re-formats ago. I did save them through FF's Import and Backup feature. I placed them on two separate external drives but can't for the life of me figure out where exactly they are and how to restore them.

I did already install xmarks on my new computer and set it up to sync.

I sync Firefox on my PC, tablet and phone by just using the Firefox sync option.
