Today was sad and we WILL NEVER FORGET. I am terribly sorry you lost a dear friend. So much pain. Things have been a bit down here. My Mom died the day before 9-1-1. I still miss her terribly. But it really hurts to see my Dad (who lives with me and is 83) so down. He's talked about her last few days in the hospital constantly since Sunday. I hope now he can go back to his normal self. He's very outgoing, never met a stranger, and has a joke repertoire for anyone and everyone he talks to. My farm sink is installed in a wall oven cabinet, for what it's worth. :-) Key is simply that the sink FITS into or onto the intended base without bumping into cabinetry on either side. The 30" sink will have to be exactly 30" side to side or less; otherwise you might be in trouble if you have anything adjacent to the sink. Yes, you can rest your sink on a site-built support base. It's what we did. My carpenter built a nice support out of crossbeams inside the cabinet. I've got to run right now but will try to dig up the installation pics for you. So my vote is: entirely doable as long as you/your finish carpenter are handy. cheers!

My husband likes the flats too...but I resigned to making all bread products once school was out. Was directed to a recipe when I asked at the Cooking Forum..and made it a second time yesterday. I now make my own. Yesterday was wheat bread thins and a loaf of sandwich bread ..today is english muffins and hot dog buns.
