Those babies are not skating. That is a commercial for Evian bottled water and that was made with computer/video effect.

No kidding! LOL! I hope you didn't think I thought these babies were really skating. As the mother of a 1-year old, I have a pretty clear idea of what babies are capable of which is why I think this is so darn funny.

joan mn, the yearling is Hope, Lily's year-old cub. We got to see her being born on last year's den cam. :-) According to the Bear Watchers, female cubs stay with their mothers for quite a long time.

That was funny! It made it even funnier that Dilly Dally actually thinks some of us are dumb enough to believe a baby who might not even be walking very well yet could do all those things on skates. Better call "America's Got Talent"! lol

I have no idea if someone thinks "Babies skating video" is real.

Did you ever see that Barbie doll commercial where they show a doll doing somersaults and skating? Did you ever notice the disclaimer on the bottom of the commercial saying that this was a photo animation and the doll you buy cannot do these things? You want to know why it was there? It was because people bought the doll and were disappointed that it just sat there and did not skate and do somersaults, so they returned it as "defective".

I'll never forget the time I had to argue with with a bunch that the *Angel Hair* that we were using in an art project was not from a REAL ANGEL. Our instructor was a nun so of course she would have access to real angel hair, right? I was shunned for not believing in angels, and not believing that one of them lent their hair for an art project. Yeah really. There really ARE people that dumb.

Where I live the city opened a *Dinosaur Exhibit*. Our local paper reported that to date, 27 people demanded their admission price returned BECAUSE THE DINOSAURS WEREN'T REAL. THEY WERE PLASTIC!!!

How many PhotoShopped items have you ever gotten in an email forward where the sender was passing them on because they really really believed what was portrayed was real? PhotoShops of crop circles put down by aliens. REAL mermaids caught in fisherman's nets. Real mummified fairies found in a forest! There is a video on YouTube that gets passed around everytime there is a new plane crash - It shows plane passengers screaming in their seats and was shot by one of the passengers from the front of the plane! The camera was found on a mountaintop by hikers! Yes!!Yes! Yes! People believe this stuff all the time. So many of those videos and photos passed around in emails are hoaxes but you just cannot convince some people of that.

Yep, and I'm sad to say that my younger sister is one of them...

Anyone here remember the Coca Cola commercials during the Winter Olympics where they had polar bears doing downhill skiing, doing the ski jump, etc.? My younger sister asked my brother - in all seriousness - "How do they get the bears to stay on the skis?"

I could give you several more of her sincere questions, and they would all reveal that, yes, indeed, there are folks who are as kind and as wonderful as can be, but who are as dumb as a box of hair.

I remember reading Sonny Bono saying that Cher thought Mt Rushmore was a 'natural wonder', in other words, that is was not man made, but formed from wind and rain. She thought that, that was incredible that wind rain and sun formed busts of American leaders in a mountain. I did not believe that anyone could be so ill informed, and thought this was just a "funny" said by Bono, but Cher mentions this herself in Sonny's eulogy.
