How Many Have A Golf Car?

I do now! I was surprised last evening when I went out back at Amber's to look at the baby koi. I told my son in law a person should not have to walk far after eating like we did. He said you don't and handed me some keys. I thought it was for his riding mower, but no, under the pine tree was the golf car I had driven the week before. It is so nice! Metalic gold, street ready, 2008 Yamaha! I have been driving all over our acres with it this morning and now Izzi and I are at Amber's. Izzi loves to ride on it. I have my laptop here and am on it as we are still having phone problems and it is in the house and I can't get online there.

We had a very busy weekend, how was yours?

I have one - the grandkids (ages 6 and 8 and 11) drive it - I just get to ride. We have a lot of fun with ours.

How to use golf tees

Here is a nice little game you could make with golf tees. Cut a piece of wood in a triangle maybe 4" on each side. Measure and drill holes acording to the layout in the drawing. YouÂll have to do the measuring because I donÂt have any tees. You need 15 tees. To play the game put a tee in each hole. Now the fun part: Remove any one tee. Then jump one at a time removing the jumped peg. Keep going until only one peg is left. Some people will figure it out sooner than others but it can be done.

Zero ... oh, but I didn't get home till about 9. At the end of a fairly long lane, on a rural (paved) road, I've had zero for several years. At the food pantry at church on Monday, they pulled out a box with some candy, some outdated, that some suspected may have been there since just after Hallowe'en last year. It included a 1/4 pound Lindt-Sprungli chocolate bar, with "Best before Nov. '11" on it, so the two workers decided to open it and eat it. We got part way through it, and they sent the rest home with me. Overcome by a sense of shame that I was to be the residual recipient of the bonus, as I have little ongoing connection with the pantry, I decided to take it back. At the food pantry on Wed., Hallowe'en, I apologized for having forgotten to bring the residue of the bar ... but the (different) two ladies said that they wouldn't eat it anyway, as they don't eat outdated food. Do you figure that I can avoid opening the bar until the next pantry, on Sat., or next Mon?? (I guess it'd be an "open bar" if I did, huh?) ole joyful

When I upgraded last year from an iPhone 4S to 5S I got such a great trade-in price on my old phone ($220) that I splurged and bought a glass screen protector (Zagg Invisible Shield) for $40. It comes with a lifetime warranty. Fast forward one year later (last month) ... while sitting shoulder to shoulder in a small rocky bird blind with 16 other bird photographers trying to shoot pics of a rare bird family, my employer called. I struggled to pull my phone out of my pocket. I opted not to put it back in my pocket for fear I would knock over $20,000+ worth of photographic equipment on each side of me. Time passed and by the time I got up to leave, I forgot my phone was on the ground between my legs. I stood up and hear a loud and very disconcerting ... crunch. ugh. I run to the Sprint store to report the damage. They had me contact Zagg who promptly sent me a new shield at no cost. Sprint installed it and I was back in business, thrilled that my actual phone display didn't have even a scratch on it. I also have a thin custom cover for the sides and back with one of my favorite bird photos and my email address in case I should accidentally leave my phone somewhere. I'm on the trail all the time taking photos and like to have my phone conveniently located for quick videos and wide angle shots so I always stuff it in my pant pocket. The Otterbox is way too thick and bulky to fit in any of my pockets.

We bought a Kawasaki Mule for our vacation property - it's 4 wheel drive and more rugged then a golf cart but we have 150 acres of woods with steep and rocky terrain. I made the mistake of telling my niece that we were going to take her for a ride in the Mule and she was so disappointed when we opened the garage door and she saw a 4 wheeled vehicle rather than a 4 legged mule.

We have one and love it. My DH is 87. We live up a winding hill from the road. It has been great for him to use taking down the garbage, picking up the paper, and the mail. Our son-in-law cut trails for him to use to check out our pine tree forest and go down to the creek. One great toy!!

We have one also. DH uses it on our property so he doesn't have to walk so far. We also take rides around the neighbor regularly. This is our 3 or 4th one I think.

This is our second one. First one was gas, this one is electric. Harry takes it to get the mail a few blocks over. Lots of people take theirs to the grocery stores. When they built the new Publix, they built a road from our main entrance down to Publix shopping center. Just about every house here has a golf cart. Sometimes when people sell the house, they throw in the cart.

I forgot this. There a several cool carts around here. One looks like a '55 Chevy and another I saw looks like an old T-bird. They make me smile.

We actually have two. Both of us golf and we also drive them to work, etc. We can drive them everywhere in our community, just not across the highway, LOL.

Ours is gas, the firt one we had was electric and it would get stuck in the sand. You could not get through our roads with it. Most of the roads in our neigbhood are not paved.

I don't but wish I did.you can drive the all ove here.We aren't too far from a Wal-mart and the grocery store and lots of eating places and it would be nice to have one.Saw one on craigslist for sale the other day like the one in the link.I would love to have one of these!

My cousin Joyce has one. she's 79 but has so much energy you would think she's 40. She babysits her 6 year old Grandson inthe summer. Her family gave her a Golf Cart for Mothers Day so she can get around their property of 50 acres including a lake.
